"Ophelia!"
"Leave me alone, Jay!" she cried. Her voice shook as tears began to stream down her face, and she refused to look at him. Her heart had been shattered.
They both stopped, exhausted from running and freezing in the cold. He sighed, and sauntered back inside.
I can't believe I thought I was pretty tonight. I can't believe I thought I might actually have a chance with him. I can't believe I was so stupid.
"God, why him?!" she screamed out into the frosty night. "Why did it have to be him?!"
