Ophelia and Damon didn't talk much. Actually, it was more of her not talking to him and him taking the hint. However, occasionally, they would exchange a few words.

One day, it was: "Lia, are you listening to Green Day?"

"Mhm."

"Oh my god, I LOVE them."

"Mhm."

Another day, it was: "Have you ever read The Perks of Being a Wallflower?"

"Mhm."

"It's a good read, isn't it?"

"Mhm."

"Very philosophical."

"Mhm."

These were short, almost one-sided conversations, though, and she never thought he'd sit down to her one day and open with: "So you were the girl that asked Jay out?"
