"Hi," he said. She looked at him, but said nothing. "I'm Damon."
Damon. It sounded like the kind of name overconfident racists have, and yet he didn't look quite like one. This realization caught her, and she spoke up. "I'm Ophelia."
"Nice to meet you," he grinned. She noticed that when he smiled, he looked like he understood more about things than he was willing to admit.
