Every time Harry got into trouble, would James and Sirius send him a letter congratulating him, or would Lily send him a howler asking Professor Snape and Dumbledore to give him a detention for a month? And then there is Professor McGonagall, who adores Lily and takes her side in giving Harry a detention.
Imagine how life for Harry would be! Currently since he doesn't have parents, Dumbledore is always there for Harry, so is Sirius. What happens if life was the other way round?
