Chapter 5

:::::::::::: Harley Quinn's POV ::::::::::

I was at my desk doing work when I saw Bruce coming back from his meeting.

"Bruce" I said he looked over to me and saw my babies all curled up and sleeping

"I see you have your babies here" he said smiling

"Yeah I do and I want to do something to thank you" I said

"Harley being with you and having you by my side is enough" he said as he holds me close

"Well to me it's not enough" I said

"So what are you going to do to thank me" he said

"It's a surprise" I said and kiss him. He kissed back. It felt like we were kissing for hours but we were interrupted by someone coughing. We broke apart and look over to see Selena Kyle A.K.A catwoman.

"Well I didn't know you moved on so fast Bruce" she said

I forgot that Selena and Bruce were dating. I mean I understand because she has a better body then me and she looks more beautiful then me.

"Selena what are you doing here" he asked. I could tell that he was getting annoyed with her already

"I wanted to see if we could get back together but I see that your with the clown" she said

"She's not a clown Selena" he said with anger in his voice

"Did she ever tell you her secret" she said smirking

Crap that's it I'm gonna lose this life now.

"What secret" he asked and looked at me

"Can we talk about it later" I said

"Yeah we can" he said then looked at Selena "get out of her Selena" he add and with that she left. I knew sooner or later I would have to tell Bruce my secret.

~ hours later ~

::::::::: Bruce's POV ::::::::::

I came out of my office and see that Harley is not at her desk. I look at her desk to see a note.

Dear Bruce,

I went home early to start your surprise and to get ready to tell you my secret

Love Harley <3

I smiled and left. I got to the house and opened the door to see Alfred standing there.

"Master Bruce please follow me" he said and walked off

"Ok" I said and followed him I entered the kitchen to see that Harley is sitting at the small table and on the table is spaghetti. I sit down across from her.

"Harley I don't know what to say but thank you" I said

"Your welcome" she said and smiled but her smile faded away

"What's wrong" I asked

"It's my secret" she said looking down at the plate of spaghetti in front of her

"What about it" I said

"You know how I said that Joker doesn't like children" she said

"Yes I remember that" I responded

"Well we had a one night together and I got pregnant. I hid away for a year which was at Ivy's place until I had the baby and when I did I left her with ivy" she said looking at me. I looked at her and went up to her

"How old is she" I asked

"She's a couple of months old" she responded

"What's her name" I asked while holding her hand

"Lily" she said

"Why don't we have her here with us. The Joker doesn't know anything about her and he might think it's mine" I said

"I would like that" she said

"Call Ivy and tell her to bring her here" I said and stood up

"I will" she said and left the room to call Ivy.

~ an hour later ~

Harley and I were in the bat cave looking through the security camera's in Arkham to see if anyone is trying to break out but nobody was. Alfred came into the cave.

"Ms Quinn and Master Bruce. Ivy is here" he said and left the cave

After Alfred left. we left the cave and to the living room to see Ivy sitting on the couch with Lily in her arms.

"Hey Ivy" Harley said

"Hey Harley, Bruce" she said and stood up

"Can I have my baby please" Harley asked

"Yes you can" Ivy said smiling and handed her Lily. Lily cooed in Harley's arms

"Take care of both of them Mr Wayne. I would hate to see her in tears and bruises" Ivy said

"I promise I won't" I said

"Good now I'm off" Ivy said and left us the bag full of stuff for the baby

"Bruce are you sure about this. It's a big step" Harley said looking at me with worried eyes

"Yes I'm sure" I said and hugged Harley and looked at Lily who was trying to smile. I heard Harley giggle and I giggled.

I put Lily in between me and Bruce as Alfred gets a crib ready for Lily.

"How are we going to tell people this" I said looking at Lily

"We can tell them that we kept this a secret for a year" he suggested

"I guess that could work" I said

Bruce looks at Lily "what if Lily wasn't really the Joker's daughter" he said

"Then I would be six feet under ground buried alive while the baby is dead laying on my chest" I said "if he found out" i added

"Well she doesn't look like the Joker and so far hasn't act like him even when she's a couple of months old" he said

I looked at my daughter. She may not be and look like the Joker but I may never know. I feel asleep with lily in my arms as Bruce had his arms wrapped around me.

~ dream ~

I was sitting on a blanket outside of the backyard of the mansion. I look down to see that I'm pregnant. I look up to see Bruce teaching Lily how to play baseball. I giggle because Lily kept on missing the ball and her baseball cap would always fall and get in the way.

"Come on Lily you can do it" Bruce said

Lily focused and hit the ball. I started clapping and so did Bruce. Lily hugged Bruce and he hugged back.

~ end of dream ~

I woke up to see Bruce walking back and forth with Lily in his arms as she starts calming down from crying. I smiled because he's going to be a great dad with Lily.
