Chapter 22

::::::::::: Harley's POV :::::::::::

I sat on the couch staring at the fireplace as my phone kept ringing as the screen showed the same number that my mom is calling from. My mom left after I was born and when I turned 10 I found out I had a twin sister and that twin sister is Selena Kyle. She's been out on the streets ever since with our mom. When I met her she was shocked that we were sisters. But the question your asking is how we lost our bond is well I told her that I had a huge crush on Bruce when she was dating him and that's when she started not to care for me. Our mom took her instead of me. I'm SO pissed that she took her and not the both of us. But my thoughts were interrupted by Alfred.

"Harley you shouldn't get so stressed. You might go into labor early if you do" he said as he handed me some water

"It's just the past I've been thinking about" I said as I take the water from his hand

"Is it about your mother?" He asked while raising an eyebrow

"Yeah" I said as I stared at my phone that is still ringing

"Well let's hope she isn't calling about money" he says

"I hope so" I said as I kept stared at the phone

~ a month later ~

I'm 9 months with my baby boy. Bruce has been worried about it. I told him about the time I had Lily because he rushed me to the hospital but he says that this time is different. This time he's here with me. But my mother found Bruce's mansion and stopped by. I heard the door bell ring. I get up from the couch and opened the door to see my mother.

"Harley" she says smiling

"What do you want?" I said with a serious look on my face trying so hard not to cry

"Please Listen Harley" she says

"Why should I listen to you when you took Selena instead of the both of us" I said gripping the door handle and squeeze it

"I couldn't take care of the both of you" she said

"So you let dad take care of me by himself. You know how hard that was for him" I said still having my hand on the door handle

"I'm sorry harls" she said

"Apology not accepted" I said and slammed the door on her face

I went and snuck into the Wayne manor. I saw a car parked outside and see a woman standing at the door. I went inside and make my way to the front door and hid so Harley couldn't see me and the person at the door. When Harley opened the door I saw our mom standing there talking to her.

"Please Listen Harley" she said

"Why should I listen to you when you took Selena instead of the both of us" said Harley as she tighten the grip on the door handle

My heart then breaks. I know that Harley was mad at our mom because she took me instead. I was upset when mom told me she left my other twin behind with my dad and took me with her instead of the both of us. I then saw Harley slam the door on our moms face and turned her back to the door. I look at her from head to toe and saw her big belly. She must be on her last mark.

"Cat I know your there" she said as she stared at the wall in front of her

I come out from the place I was hiding from and walked out a little. kind of scared of my sister now because I know what she's still capable of. "Hi" I said looking at her

"What do you want. I'm not in the mood" she said as she has her hands turned into fist

"Look I'm sorry" I said and looked at the floor

"What?" She said shocked

"I'm sorry" repeating it again

"Really?" She asked as she takes a couple of steps towards me

I look up at her and then hugged her as she hugged back. "I missed you so much" I told her as my eyes started tearing up

"You sure about that" she said

My heart then fell as more tears come down my eyes I then look at her "yes I am. I know that I've been trying to break you and Bruce up but I realized that my sister code is more important than anything else. I need my sister more than anything. I'll help you and Bruce put that gangster clown back into Arkham Asylum now matter how many times we have to put him in there when he escapes" I said with tears still coming down my face

Harley was about to say something but put her hands on her stomach and screamed in pain.

"Omg you must be going into labor" I said as I grabbed her before she fell to the floor "ALFRED!!!!" I screamed

Alfred came running in with Lily. He grabs some key by the door and handed it to me. "Get to the hospital quickly. We'll meet you there" he said and ran up the stairs with Lily in his arms.

I picked her up and ran to the car. I put her in the passenger seat then I went over to the driver seat. I started the car and she yelled in pain.

"Where's Bruce" she said holding on to the seat

"He's going to meet us at the hospital" I said and drove fast to the hospital. I hope the joker doesn't show up to take Lily or the baby, even worse Harley.
