Chapter 11

:::::::::: Harley Quinn's POV ::::::::::::

~ a year later ~

I was getting so much work done for the wedding. They ask what color napkins I want, how many people are going, what kind of food do I want, what kind of flowers I want, and so on.

"I don't want Daisy's I want white roses" I said over the phone. I looked really tired and Bruce had been giving me days off but someone had to cover for me. I asked Ivy but she doesn't like business jobs because she's into plants. So I asked my friend Bailey from high school. She's the only one I kept in touch with. So she's been covering for me.

"I'M ALLERGIC TO DAISYS" I yelled over the phone

"Harley maybe you should hang up. I'll take care of it" Bruce says as he takes the phone from me

"But" I said tiredly

"No buts get some rest Harley" he says

"Ok" I said and walked to our bedroom. I lay down on my side of the bed, pulling the covers over me. I fell asleep

~ a couple of hours later ~

I wake up to someone crawling on the bed. I look over to see Lily smiling and giggling while Bruce sat down giving me a cup of tea. I take the tea and take a sip then setting it on the nightstand.

"Thank you" I said

"Welcome" he said and kissed me. Lily tried to say something

"I think she's trying to say gross" Bruce said

"Starting to are yay Lily" I said and pulled her to my chest

"I got the white roses" Bruce says as he lays down next to me

"Great I can't wait" I said

"Who you going to invite" Bruce ask as he puts an arm around my waist

"I don't know" I said thinking about who to invite

"What about your family?" He asked looking at me

I started remembering my family how my father raised me and my mother left me after I was born. "My father might be around but I don't know my mother" I said

"What happened to your mother?" He asked

"She left after I was born. Leaving my dad heart broken" I said looking at Lily

"Maybe we can find her" he said

"You sure?" I said looking at him

"Yeah I'm sure then you can ask her why she left" he said

"Yeah I do have a lot of questions" I said

"Well did you have a good nap" he asked smiling at me

"Yeah I did" I said looking at him

"That's good. I'm glad you did" he said brushing my blonde locks out of my face

~ the next day ~

Bruce looked up to see if my dad was still alive and where my mom was located. I was on the floor playing with Lily as Alfred helped out with Bruce.

"Where does this go" I said handing Lily a square block. She took it from my hands and tried to put in the circle. I laughed. She's almost a year old which she'll turn a year old next month. She looked at me then giggled. Bruce looked over to see where she would put it next which she tried to put it in the triangle.

Bruce laughed "Harley come here" he said after he stopped laughing

"Ok" I said then sat in his lap. He turned the chair around to face the computer.

"Well what I got was that your father is in the hospital and your mother lives in a apartment complex" Bruce said

"Great I'll go see my father first" I said and gets up from Bruce's lap

"Do you want me to come with" he asked

"Yeah especially Lily. I really think he would like to see you guys" I said smiling

Bruce gets up and picks up Lily from the floor but Lily started crying when he did because he took the square block from her.

"Really" Bruce says but gives back Lily the square block which then she stops crying. I just giggled. We left in a four door car to go to the hospital. We got to the hospital a couple of mins later. We went to the front desk to see what room my dad is in.

"Hi um I have a question" I asked

"Which is" the lady said

"Do you know what room Francis Quinzel" I asked

"Yes he's on floor five and the number of the room is 504" she said

"Thank you" I said with a kind smile

Bruce and I walked over to the elevator. We got in when the doors opened. I pushed the 5 button and the doors closed. Bruce put an arm around my waist while he did I started to think why my dad is in the hospital. Maybe he's close to death or something. The doors opened and we stepped out heading to the room. We entered the room knocking on the wall.

"Dad?" I said

"Harley is that you?" Someone said

"Yeah it's me" I said and saw him on the hospital bed looking really weak

"How are you" he asked

"I'm good. Dad this is my fiancé Bruce Wayne and your granddaughter Lily" I said point to them

"Wow Harls I'm glad you got rid of the gangsta clown" he said with a weak smile

"Me too" I said smiling

My dad started coughing and coughing. Bruce put a hand on my shoulder. "Maybe me and Lily should leave the room"  Bruce says

"No it's ok Bruce. I want you and Lily here with me" I said

"Ok we'll stay" Bruce says and sits down in a chair

I sit down by my dad and hold his hand. "Do you think you can come to my wedding tomorrow" I said

"I don't even think I'll make it tomorrow" he said

I started tearing up. My dad was the only one there for me, he took care of me after I was born, my mother left me on the hospital bed, I was crying, hungry and wanted mom but she left me to dad, she probably never wanted children that's why she must of left me but I do have a child. I kept on checking up on her when I escaped from the cops and batman but now it's different i have my daughter with me and a man who respects me, he's not treating me like a slave, he's treating me like a queen.
