Chapter 29

:::::::::::: Barbara's POV ::::::::::::

The next morning I wake up to a sun shining in my eyes and I feel the bedroom really cold but I realized I'm naked in bed with just the sheets covering my body. My body started getting covered in goosebumps so I went to the closest thing in bed that was warm and felt a human body. Of course the body wasn't clothed either. I looked up to see Grayson sleeping then I remembered last night and smiled to myself. I rest my head on his chest and fall back but that back fired cause I heard a groan from Grayson. I open my eyes and looked up at him to see him looking at me with a smile. I smile at him

"Morning beautiful" he said

"Morning handsome" I said and kissed him as he kissed back. We were starting to have a heated make out session but I then realized that he's still dating starfire. "Grayson......wait" I said kind of breathless

"What is it?" He said and looked at me with a concerned look

"What about Star fire you........." I was interrupted by Grayson

"I'll deal with her but for right now I want to have a good morning with the most beautiful girl" he said and he made me smile more

His hands run down my side and down to my butt which he pulled me closer. I giggled and kissed him and he kissed back.

"Grayson...." I moaned out

Grayson pulled the sheets up more and we were about to start our fun until there was a knock on the door. We both stopped and looked at the door. Then there was a knock again

"Grayson?" A female voice was heard on the other side of the door

"Shit it's starfire" we both whispered

I quickly got out of bed and gathered my clothes and went into the closet and closed the door and quietly got changed. I hear the bedroom door open and then Grayson and starfire talking. It seemed like it was going on for awhile but then I heard byes and then foot steps walking off. I slowly open the closet door to see Grayson closing the bedroom door and turn to face me.

"I know I should of broken up with her but now is not a good time" he said scratching the back of his neck

I said nothing but rolled my eyes and grab my shoes and put them on.

"Barbara...." he said and started to come up to me

I pushed him away and left. Obviously he doesn't want me and he wants to be with starfire cause if he wanted me then he would of broken up with her. I stayed in my apartment and only left for work or to go to the store.

~ a week later ~

Grayson has tried to call me and so on but I never answered. Something happened this morning, I wasn't feeling well. I was throwing up in the toilet and didn't stop. Once I did I called my dad and told him I wasn't going to come into work today. He told me ok and that I hope you feel better. Love you and then we both hung up. After that I called Harley. I know it's 6 in the morning but I really need a girl talk.

"Hello" a tired voice answered

"Harley I need you to come over right away please" I said

"Alright I'm on my way" she said and hung up

A few minutes later Harley knocked on the door. I opened it and let her in.

"What is it babs. Why did you want me here" she asked looking really tired

"Harls I'm flipping out......I have been throwing up all morning and I couldn't stop." I said kind of panicking

"Woah wait. You've been throwing up all morning....sounded like me when I was pregnant with Lucy and then Damian" she said and we both froze. I stared at Harley completely in shock. I slept with Grayson a week ago and I was suppose to start my period today.

"Harley what if.........what if I'm pregnant" I said stuttering

"Then your........your pregnant" she said also stuttering

I'm not ready for a baby. I'm only living in a one bedroom apartment. I can't move in with my dad cause then he'll hate Grayson. Oh god........how am I going to tell Grayson.......I need to wait at least.

~ 12 weeks later ~

I made it through my first semester of my pregnancy. I told my dad when I was two weeks and he was happy but upset that Grayson doesn't even know. I just didn't want to tell Grayson and then miscarry. I get to the titans building with and envelope as I get to the top floor and open the door since people here are like family. I only see Grayson and starfire cuddling on the couch. It instantly broke me and I dropped my envelope from my hands and ran off to the elevator and go back down. I heard foot steps as the elevator closed. Which I panicked more. Good thing they didn't see me

I heard something drop and look to see the door open. I get up and hear the elevator door close. I look down to see an envelope, I pick it up and see my name on it. It's from Barbara cause of her hand writing I always recognize and she always writes my actual name. I open it to see an ultrasound and Barbara's full name was at the top left corner..............she's pregnant........with my kid............I was just staring at it shocked from what I was seeing.

"Grayson.......are you alright" I heard from starfires

"I have to go" I said and left to go find Barbara
