Chapter 20

Felicity

I finished, and then I sucked him off and he finished, and then we went to the bedroom and had sex again.

When I come downstairs the next morning, Shane is still asleep.

Everyone is looking at me weird.

What?

"Felicity, we need to have a conversation." Mom says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because I said." She says. She stands up, walking outside the front door.

I follow her.

It's in the sixties here.

I hug myself.

She shuts the door.

"Yes?" I ask.

She sighs.

"I'm not mad at you." she says. "You're an adult and I didn't tell my mother either."

"Okay." I breathe. "I would've told you, you know."

"I know."

There's something she isn't telling me.

"Shane's parents approached me after you and Shane went to bed last night." She says.

I nod.

"And?"

"They told me that Shane's brothers and his cousins snuck into the bedroom and recorded you and Shane having sex. Not a video, just an audio."

My eyes widen.

No.

Oh my god.

"Who knows?" I ask.

From the look on her face, it's everyone.

I start crying.

"Of fucking course they did! Why wouldn't they, right? God dammit!" I bury my head in my hands. "Who listened to it?"

"Everyone but Abby and Tori." She whispers.

"Lauren and Jake too?" I cry.

"They came out of their room when they heard Teresa yelling."

Teresa is Shane's Mom.

"But Abby and Tori know, right? Did they delete the fucking recording?"

She shakes her head.

"They refused. I'm sorry sweetie."

"They were trying to test me, Mom."

I tell her everything that's happened. She hugs me.

I cry into her shoulder for a while, and when I calm down, we go back in the house.

Shane

I wander downstairs after showering.

Felicity looks really pissed off when I walk in, and everyone is kinda quiet.

Everyone is looking at me.

Something happened.

I look at my girl.

"Hey." I say. "What's the matter?"

She just shakes her head.

"Nothing." She whispers.

She doesn't even look at me, and her hair is covering her face.

I reach out and pull her hair back.
