Chapter One

My name is Chance, Chance Tenforth
12 years old, Loves Anime, and cats
I'm a simple girl, with a crazy mind...

But I love myself...
And I love everyone who loves me as well...
I'm currently studying at Ashope Academy as a 1st year,
Life is awesome!
Well until...

I was in my room, when suddenly I heard a loud thud! So I went downstairs only to find my father laying in the couch,
Holding his hand close to his heart...
I came closer to him,
And I yelled "Mom! Mom! Dad's got a heart attack!"

Then Mom burst out of the kitchen,
And ran to us...She was crying as well
"Chance, call the ambulance!" She said to me

I did as I told
"This is the Tendroit Hospital speaking, how may I help you?" The voice said
"Uh- Ma'am, my father's got a heart attack...
We need help! Hurry!" I said to her

"Yes miss, the ambulance is on their way!" She said
"Mom, I called them...Their coming!" I said reassuring her

"Chance, come over here..." she said still crying
"Why mom?" I asked
"Cha-Chance, yo - you're fa-father..." she said

"Why-why mom?" I asked again
"He-he's g-gone!" She blurted at me...
"No, no, no, no, your joking right? Tell me mom! You're joking! This is only a Joke!
No," I said to her crying

Then the ambulance came and took dad in,
"Mom...you're just kidding that time, right?"
I said to her sniffing
"Chance...as much as I would like to say I am,
I'm not..." she said her tears coming back

"No, why Mom? Why?! Why..." I said to myself

"Some things are left unsaid..." she told me

*After a year later*

"Mom..I'm off to school" I said to her
"Okay sweetie! Oh and Don't forget your lunch on the first day, " She said while giving me my lunch

I was in thought while walking to school,
"It's been a year now... and it still feels like nothing happend...hmm" I said to myself

After the death of my father...
I became a ghost, well not technically,
I became a loner...
I also started wearing glasses because my eyesight isn't very good...

"Good Morning Miss!" Greeted the bodyguard
"Are you new?" He asked
"Yes." I said bluntly
"Uhh- have a great day at the first day!" He said with a smile

"Huh? Kids these days" I heard him mumble
Grown people this days...

I continued to walk towards my given room,
I forgot after my father's death...
My Mother decided to re-marry which I hugely disagree... it's like she's forgetting about dad, and replacing him with another guy...
My new dad by the way is the Owner of a 5 star restaurant and a real good cook too...
He often tries to interact with me by teaching me how to cook...which often works because I love eating,
But no one will replace dad in my heart.

I noticed that I'm in front of my room,
I entered and saw different faces...
I don't know anyone, probably because I'm new...

I sat on the so called 'godly seat', you know ,
The back seat in the first row near the window...yeah, Anime rocks!

I stared intensely at the window,
"Wow...there's a awesome view up here" I said to myself

"Konichiwa!" A squeal of a girl came to me
"Uh-Konichiwa?, do you need anything?" I asked
"Oh nothing, I just wanted to ask if I could sit in front of you?" She said
"Umm...you don't need to ask, you can sit wherever you want" I told her

"Really? Then I change my mind! I'll sit beside you instead!" She squealed again
"Okay!" I said to her

"Ah! I'm Yui Hashita! Nice to meet you" she said extending her hand
"I'm Chance Tenforth...excuse me, but I couldn't help notice, are you Japanese? Or an otaku?" I said with a giggle
"Oh I'm Japanese...otaku? Yes! I'm one too,
How bout' you? Are you Japanese...or an otaku?" She said with a evil giggle

"Otaku! A proud òne! " I told her
"Well this must mean... We should really be friends!" She said

"Okay..."
