Chapter Two: The Backstaber

*After Chance and Yui's encounter they decided to be best friends...
Yui really helped Chance's inner talent shine,
In fact, Chance even won a singing contest!

But because of Chance's popularity,
Yui became very jealous of her...
She thought that Chance was just using her to become popular,

That's why she prepares a plan to ruin her best friend:

Ugh! Why does she always gets the attention!
I'm tons more talented than her...
And why do Ken likes her?
I'm more beautiful, and suitable for him!

Why did Chance did this to me?!
Did she just used me?
I thought our friendship was real?
Maybe I was wrong, I shouldn't have trusted her...

She's a Backstaber!
A bitch! A bitchy backstaber slut!

Oh I know! I'm gonna sabotage her,
Since she's still playing nice to me...
I can easily fool her,

Chance's P.O.V

I haven't seen Yui for a while...
And she didn't even notice me once in class,
I wonder what's wrong?

Should I ask her?
Yeah! That's what I'll do! But first,
I gotta eat my lunch and find her afterwards,
Heh. Sorry Yui!

After lunch I decided to search for Yui,
Only to find out this note in my desk...
I started to look around to see who putted it here...
But everyone is gone...
Maybe it's because it's already time?

I picked the note and it says:

Meet me at the rooftop,
We need to talk...

What could Yui wanna talk about?

Well class is over anyway,
I guess Mom wouldn't be angry if I go home a little late today...

I climbed the stairs,
And found Yui and... Ken?
I ran towards Yui, Only to find out that she was confessing to Ken!

Oh! Maybe she didn't?
Anyway if she likes him,

I hid behind the door where I came in

Yui's P.O.V

"K-Ken? I-I really like you...
For a long time now, and I was hoping if you liked me too?" I said shyly

"Oh! Yui, I-um...
Well you see, there's this girl, and she's really nice...she also have this awesome voice!
I think your nice too, but I've already fallen for someone..." Ken responded scratching his cheek
"Oh it's okay, it's okay, so...
Who's the lucky girl?"
No! No it's not okay... it's not o-kay

"She's... Chance," he said

"Ch-Chance...as in Chance Tenforth? My best friend?" I asked him
"Uh-yeah..." he answered

I - it's Chance! I-I why does it have to be her?! It should've been me! It should've been me!

"Umm...Yui I gotta go, Dad's calling, see you tomorrow! Ciow" he waved goodbye

Chance's P.O.V

It's me?
Ken likes me? No. No no no no, NO!
He shouldn't have liked me?!
I mean, yes I like him, but?
What about Yui?
I need to see her!

I was going towards Yui, then I bumped into Ken...

"Chance? What are you doing here? Did you?"
He asked
"Yes? Going to see Yui, And yes I heard it!
Now move out of the way! My best friend needs me" I told him
"Uhh. I-"

I didn't let him finish, I shoved him away and ran towards crying Yui,

"Y - Yui?" I asked
"Ch-Chance? What are you doing here bitch?!"
She screamed at me
Wha-What?

"I came here because you I thought you
needed me?" I told her
"Need you? Why would I need you? I don't need you," She hissed at me
"Then what do you want?" I asked her

"What I want? I want you...to DIE!
Why does everyone likes you! Why do Ken likes you? Why don't everyone notice me?!
They only know me as your best friend period! They don't acknowledged me as anyone but your best friend?!

So what I want, is for you to just die! Die already! I don't need you... your a bitch! A Backstaber! A user! You only used me to become popular!" She said at me

I- I didn't know...
But what I know for sure that I didn't use her!
I love her as a sister! I love her...
And because I do,
I'll do what she wants...
If she wants me to die...
Then that's what I'll do,

"You really want me to die, don't you?" I asked her one more time

"Yes! I want you to Die..."

"Then, as a follower, a sister, and especially...
A friend,
I'll grant your wish Yui..."

As I said that I climbed the rooftop ' s handle

And stood up facing her... With tears I say,

"Goodbye Yui."
