Blind Date (Tom Holland)

(This story was inspired by the movie, 12 Dates of Christmas)

"I promise it won't be that bad." Y/n's best friend, bff/n said as she was getting ready for a blind date. This was her 3rd blind date in a week. The other two weren't that great. BFF/n set her up with some as a joke. There were nice ones but they just weren't right for her.

"You said that for the last two." She sighed trying to look for her favorite pair of earrings.  She had no high hopes for this date.

She was meeting up at a place called "Smokey's" (made it up, but if there is a place called that then go with it😂). There she would be having dinner. "But I promise this one is different." BFF/n said and smiled at her.

Y/n hopped out of her taxi and walked into Smokey's. A wave of smoke filled her nose, she could tell how they got the name. It wasn't that much of a fancy restaurant nor was it cheap. It was very rustic inside and it had a cabin feel to it.

She shrugged off her coat and held it in her arms as she looked around. She saw a guy with glasses sitting at a table and rolled her eyes. She walked over to him, he stood up "Are you r/n?" (Random name).

"Oh, no sorry" She smiled and walked further until she saw a man sitting at a table with a beer. She walks over and stands in front of him, "Y/n?" He asks and the first thing she noticed was his accent. She nodded at him and he smiled, "I'm Tom" and gestures for her to sit down.

"Your friend BFF/n has told me a lot about you." He smiles and takes a sip of his beer. "Has she now?" She smiled to herself and hoping that she didn't say anything embarrassing.

"She said that you're really nice and sweet also that you got out of a long relationship recently." He hesitated a little when saying the last part. Inside her heart ached from the memory of her ex but she smiled "Well, at least she didn't say anything embarrassing."

He smiled at her, They both then got to know each other a little. Y/n soon came to realize he wasn't like the other guys that she had blind dates with. Her friend had finally found a good one for her.

They both decided to leave the restaurant and go do something fun. They both decided to go do karaoke.

Tom went up on the stage and chose a song secretly. Y/n had no idea what it was.

"You got that thing that I've been looking for

And you got a heart full of gold and that's really turning me on"

She blushed a deep red as he sang the song while pointing at her.

She started to laugh as the crowd cheered him on. The beat then dropped. He started to dance around the stage which made her laugh even more.

"Just say you feel the way that I feel
I'm feeling sexual, so we should be sexual
Just say you feel the way that I feel"

He finished the song and the crowd cheered. He came off the stage and towards her smiling. She felt the blood rush up to her cheeks as he smirked at her.

"Sorry, that song is one of my favorites with my mates Jacob and Harrison." He said putting his hand on the nape of his neck. She blushed, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "It was a great performance." She smiled at him and he blushed.

The rest of the date was probably the best date Y/n had had in a long time. She had felt like she had knew Tom for a long time even though they just met. They both seemed to balance each other out.

They had both finally made it to her apartment and they both stood in front of it. "I had a great time with you." Y/n said smiling at him. "Me too, one of the best times I've had in a long time." He said and gave her a hug.

"We should do it again." Y/n said hastily while looking down. "Definitely" he smiled and she went to give him a kiss on the cheek but he turned his head. She gasped, but relaxed into his soft lips and he put his hands on both of her cheeks.

They pulled apart with red cheeks and smiled at each other. "See you later." She said and headed inside her apartment. Tom walked away still feeling electricity from the kiss he just had.

(I had a really fun time writing this one, especially the Karaoke scene😂)
