"We've got them your majesty."

King Florence never thought he would hear such sweet words.
The king's bounty on Riptide had been out for a month now and finally he had a lead. It was slightly disappointing that it had taken so long. He had put 5,000 gold crowns on the boy, surely his bounty hunters had been scrambling to find him first. The fact that it had taken a whole month showed that the boy was tougher than he had thought.

"Finally." King Florence smiled and imagined wrapping his hands around the boy's neck and squeezing the life out of him. Oh, how satisfying that would be. "Where are they?"

The knight was a wicked one. He liked to torture people almost as much as the king did. "A small cabin in the woods, only a few miles away from the Arkenine Mountains."

The king frowned. If they were that close to the mountains, he had almost lost them. He didn't like losing.

"And a squadron of knights are out there, correct?"

The knight nodded. "Yes. They're just waiting for your word, my king."

"Well, what are you wanting for?" He yelled joyfully. "Send them word."
He smiled at all the things he would do to is adopted son. "Bring me Riptide."
