How many times would I have to save these guys. All of a sudden Aiden’s eyes pops open and he see’s the Empousa, a vampire from the old ages. She feasts on men blood at night. Ha! Aiden and Gene were not men. Aiden jumps out his bed knocking the Empousa over. Gene rolls off the bed.

“What’s with all this noise?”  Gene said getting up rubbing his eyes. When he removed his finger his eyes opened up wide and he backed up into the bed, “She’s not so pretty how she was before!”

I couldn’t help but laugh even though this is a very serious . He was sooooo right. If I wasn’t a demi-god, then I would’ve been so freaked out. Then again, I’m more freaked out for my friends since they’re males.

She looked the exact way Mr. Sunshan described her  wearing brazen slippers and bearing flaming hair. How was I suppose to kill her?

I flung a brush at her hair, “ Maybe you should comb that down!”

The Empousa looked towards me and beared her fangs, “ Stay out of this! I just want them.” She said touching Gene. Gene seem to calm down, almost like he wanted her to bite him.

I know what she was doing. She was using that spell to trap them. She was making them want her. Gene seem to be falling for it, Aiden on the other hand wasn’t with it. It was he was immune to it.

“Gene, snap out of it. She’s in your head,” I said to Gene. He was listening. I  grabbed himpulling him behind me.

The clerk lady hissed at me, drawing her claws to my face. I grabbed my swordn swinging it at her kneck but she dodged it. She moved closer to me and I jump on my bed. She claws the sword out my hand. I look at Aiden who nods at me. He grabs a pillow and throws it at her head. The pillow burns to ashes. I watch as she turned around hissing towards him.

I gave this a chance of distraction to get my sword. I slid across the room, grabbing my sword backstabber. I landed on my back, and I got the attension of the clerk lady.  She run quickly towards me and jumped to get me, as she jumped my sword connected it her neck. Her head rolled to the floor rolling over.

“Ewww!” Gene said sitting on the bed, “I’m so tired.”

I looked around and I recognized that Simon isn’t here. Where was he. For some reason every minute we face a monster he isn’t around to help. I know he has training in sword fighting.

“So what did I miss.” Simon said walking in with a ketchup and mustard stain on his shirt.

I rolled my eyes just the demi-god I was talking about.

“Where were you!” I said

“Um, I was at the buffet, eating.” He said slowly like I was stupid

I picked up a pillow and flung it at his head, “Are you kidding me!” I said, “ We just faced a male blood sucking creature and all you could say is you was at the buffet eating.”

He looks around at all of us, “You faced am Empousa?”

Gene runs a hand through his head, “Uhhh duhh!”

“Look guys I’m sorry, I was feeling hungry.”

“At the middle of the night!” I said, that didn’t make any sense

“It isn’t the middleof the night.” Simon said looking at us

I looked at his foolishly. I ran up and moved the drapes from the window. The light streaked into the room lighting it up. Wow, that must’ve meant that we checked in  like 5:00 in the night, that must mean that we only have three more days left.

“Guys we better get going, we only have 3 more days left!” I said grabbing my shoes and yanking them on. I brushed my hair really quickly and brushed my teeth at the same time.

“You’re so hot when you’re trying to get ready quickly.” Gene said quickly wolf whistling

I knew he was doing that to bug Simon. I couldn’t help but let out a giggle. Gene came running over to me hugging me, “Thanks for saving me.”

I hugged him some more. He kissed me on the cheek. I couldn’t believe he just kissed me. I looked up at him, and grey eyes met my blue eyes. His eyes held a sparkle in it. Gene leaned in to kiss me on the lips but I couldn’t not in front of Simon. I knew this would of pained him forever.

“Look at the time. Let’s get going.”  Gene lets go of me. Everyone filed out the room except Simon. I walked back stying back behind him.

“Hey.” I said trying to break the ice

“You know if you wanted to kiss him you should’ve.” Simon said looking at me, “Since you like him and all.”

“Simon, look I don’t know about that, I know that would’ve hurt you.” I said looking up at his ice blue eyes. Wow, they were beautiful. I couldn’t help but melt into his gaze. I guess I saw why I liked him. He is so beautiful.

“Selene, you’re a beautiful girl. I can’t stop letting boys like you. And as much I hate to say this, and as much I HATE Gene, go ahead. I give my approval.”

I looked up at him, “ Really.”

“Yes really.” He said smiling at me

“Thanks.”

I guess I won the lottery. Well not literally, I got the boy I wanted  without hurting my bestfriend. That’s better than money. I guess.

So how did you like the chapter? Team Gene or Team Simon. Lol, I think I'm Team Gene. Lol, although I love Simon cause he is my character. I love you guys for reading.
