I'm so lucky to have parents that are allies. But they're only one part of my family. If I'm not straight, and I'm really starting to be sure I'm not, then that's the scariest part of coming out. I have family that are conservative, Christian, and republican. And I don't know if they're homophobic or not. It would be one thing to tell my parents, but beyond that? Even scarier.
