Kyungsoo's Birthday

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR SQUISHY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" Everyone sang to Kyungsoo

Kyungsoo rubbed his tired eyes and opened them to see a big decorated cake held by Kai.

"Happy birthday Kyungsoo, hyung. Make a wish." Kai smiled at Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo sat up and looked at the cake Kai was holding and shut his eyes.

"I wish that one day, I will gather enough courage to confess my feelings towards Kim Jong In." Kyungsoo thought to himself.

He blew out all the 21 candles.

"What'd you wish for D.O. ? Luhan asked.

"Oh..well you know..if I tell the wish won't come true."

Luhan shook his head in understanding and smiled.

They all walked to the kitchen.

While Kyungsoo was cutting the humongous cake, Lay snook out without anyone noticing in the hype.

Him, being curious, sneaked into Kai and D.O.'s room.

He started looking around for any clues to find out if his suspicions were correct.

He looked under Kai's bunk bed shared with D.O. and found a book.

The book the sasaeng threw at D.O.

"Kaisoo evidence"

Is what it is titled on the front of the book.

The book was decorated in clipped photographs of kaisoo moments.

Lay was shocked to see all of the moments kaisoo had in one whole cover for the interesting book.

He looked inside the book and flipped some pages.

One page, was flipped to and it had a crumpled old hand written note. From Kai.

"Dear Kyungsoo hyung, it's been a long time since I wanted to tell you this but I couldn't hold it in any longer.

I love you.

I have ever since I met you in training. We were two trainees when we first met, and I hoped I would be great friends with you. I was so happy when we got put into the same group together. I loved you for all these years. And till now, I'm confessing my love for you."

" What? What the hell. Kai loves D.O." Lay whispered.

Lay stood there, shocked.

"Lay! We've been calling your name! Don't you want any ca-" Kai stared at the book that was in Lay's hand.

Lay looked at Kai with his mouth hanging open.

"K-Kai. You, like..D.O.?"

Kai stared at Lay and whispered "Lay..the truth is going to come out some day. So, yes. Yes, I do like D.O. I love him."

"Wow Kai, I thought you liked the ladies." Lay smiled and put the book back into it's original hiding place. "D.O. doesn't know, does he?"

Kai chuckled and said "No,haha..not yet."

"Why didn't you give him that note you wrote?"

"Oh..I, I thought it sounded stupid...so I never gave it to him. I..I crumpled it up and threw it in the trash."

"How did anyone find that note??"

"That's what I asked myself. But I remembered I wrote it in the cafe down in the lobby. Next to a window.Some sasaeng must've seen me writing it and  throwing it away. They could've ran inside and gotten it before security could throw them out.."

"Oh. Well...your secret is safe with me, Kai."

Kai looked at Lay and smiled.

"Thanks Lay. You and Suho are the only ones who know now."

"Suho knows too?? Wow..hehe I feel special then. Two out of nine others."

"Ha, yeah, I guess. Lets go get some cake...if there's still any."

They laughed and walked into the kitchen together.

"Hey, what were you guys doing?" Suho asked.

"Just talking." Lay answered.

D.O. stared at them. He was a bit jealous of them going off and speaking to each other privately while he was cutting his own birthday cake.

"..Is there any cake left?" Kai asked.

"No." D.O. answered back sternly.

Kai was taken aback by D.O."s tone.

"Eish. Fine. We'll just go to the cafe then. Come on Lay."

D.O. stared at him with wide eyes.

Lay followed Kai and they went down to the lobby.

"Kai. I think D.O. didn't mean to answer you that way."

"Ah, I know. I just wanted to make him a little jealous." Kai smirked.

"Come on, it's his birthday."

Kai looked at Lay and thought.

"So, you don't want to buy a piece of cake then?"

"Ah, let me just buy a piece of cake and then we can walk back up.."

"Haha, okay."

*Back at the boys room*

"We're backkk!" Kai yelled.

D.O. turned around and glared at Lay next to him then turned back.

Kai scurried over to him and hugged him from the back.

"I'm sorry D.O. hyung. Forgive me?" Kai whispered into D.O's ear.

D.O. shivered at the sound of Kai's voice next to his face.

"Forgive you for what? You didn't do anything wrong."

Kai stared at D.O. dumbfounded.

D.O. walked into their room and locked the door.

"Oooh." Everyone stared.

"Eish..shut up."

D.O. was on his top bunk bed thinking about Kai.

"Kai is so cute..he apologized even though it was me acting all dramatic."

D.O. fell asleep.

An hour later Kai walks into their room so he can sleep.

He tries to open the door but it was locked, he goes and grabs a key.

Kai gets into his bed and looks up.

It's D.O.'s bunk.

"I bet he's sleeping like an angel right now." Kai smiled to himself.

He fell into a deep sleep.

Out of all members, none of them remembered about opening presents.

Oh well, they can do that tomorrow.
