She's asleep and says I should take a nap too
I said I'm awake too deep, I'l stay here thinking of you
She said time would run faster and I would be with her soon
The thing is time is meant to walk slowly in my room
I should have some sleep, alright
But if I were sleeping, I couldn't write
And if time is running faster for sleepers
How crazy it is, the clock runs the same
I know time is a lie and it's a well protected one
Because no one has ever time to explain why
