The days were going down just the same
Until one day I decided it had to change
If I had no friends then I d make a friend
She was so cute and she smiled so wide
If life is a journey I had to join her car
So I texted her and now I enjoy the ride
And if life gets to boring we can always go slide
Found someone to share what's the best of me
Someone willing to see the world the way I see
Yesterday I went for a walk and the weather was mild
And even far away it felt she was with me for a while
Now no more reminiscing let's leave the past in the past
The life goes forward and we go forward with it
In so many breaths I'm not breathing the last
The life goes forward and we're not afraid of it
No more questions without answer
No more friends turning stranger
No more lines without a rhyme
And if a bad day has to come then we'll deal with it just fine
I've dreaming for to long
Now it's time to live a bit
So honey if you want to come with me
I'm here on the grass, have your seat
