Tessa would never show her feelings for Dan. She didn't even know if what she was feeling was normal, or real.
Maybe she liked him platonically and that was all, but it seemed like more than that.
She hadn't stopped thinking about him since they'd met. She didn't even know that much about him. His name is Dan, he's awkward and he think she's really pretty.
That's what he told her during the party.
"I'm really awkward with this stuff and I know I'm gonna make a mess of this, but I think you're really pretty."
She was going to tell him that he was cute too, but his friend pulled him away, and she couldn't find him again.
She tried to find him, she looked everywhere, but he had disappeared.
Maybe all he wanted to do was tell her she looks pretty. Maybe he already has a girlfriend. Maybe she'll never see him again.
He seems way out of her league anyway. He's gorgeous. He'd never like a girl like her.
