Never begin fights. If you've somehow got someone angry, and started a fight, be the one to apologize.

Don't wait for the other to apologize. Look like the good guy. Just apologize like you mean it.

If you've been brought into a fight, and the other apologizes first, say sorry back. Be forgiving. Its better than being the bad guy.

If you apologize, but the other doesn't forgive, than do anything in your power to get them to forgive you.

Don't leave a problem unsolved.

Revenge isn't the answer. The answer is probably C.
