Patience is another crucial part of helping people.

Patience isn't always, "waiting."
It also means to try not to be mad at something that's happened, but instead, try to understand what has occurred.

In other words,

Don't be triggered easily.

If someone isn't willing to tell you something, accept it, and understand that they aren't ready to tell you, or they just don't believe that you would understand them.

Don't try to force them to tell you. Just gain their trust, and be a friend.

It's the best way to go.
