Jaelyn Whittemore is easily compared to her twin brother Jackson Whittemore. Both siblings are arrogant, pompous, and all together obsessed with popularity and power. Jaelyn is the queen of  Beacon Hills High School yet pays very little attention to her fellow peers, that is until she meets Scott McCall.
Scott was a nobody until his first lacrosse practice back from summer break, where he blew everyone, including Jaelyn, away with his new found lacrosse skills. Now Jaelyn finds herself interested in the brown eyed boy and he is changing her in a way that she didn't know was possible.
Though one night is all it takes for Jaelyn to discover that Scott has a secret, one that starts to destroy everything the girl has ever known.
Supernatural elements of Beason Hills are exposed to Jaelyn and she soon finds herself in the middle of werewolves, hunters, and heartbreak. Jaelyn was never the type of girl to fall in love, but Scott is different, and she will do anything to protect him. He is the only one who understands her burning questions, the problem is, he doesn't have the answers.
