The Meetings

I didn't respond to his email that night, though I wanted to. I just shut my laptop off and went to sleep, trying to ignore the wanting in me and the giant butterflies that errupted at the thought of seeing him again. God... this man.

Saturday, I woke up around 9 and went to the kitchen. Sam was there in jeans and a shirt, making coffee. She smiled as she handed me a mug, her eyes gleaming. She sat at the bar we had. I groaned internally as she flashed me her "You're gonna spill and if you don't, I'm gonna hurt ya" look. I put a little creme and sugar in my coffee before I joined her.

"He's the CFO. He called me in on Monday. He remembered me the moment he laid eyes on me. It was so awkward. He gave me a project and I finished it late," I started, reluctantly, knowing that I should just spit it out. I didn't want to though. I was sharing something that I didn't want to. I didn't want to share him, us, quite yet. "You should have seen him. Beautiful and intimidating at the same time." I stopped and cleared my throat, knowing that I couldn't go there, not with Sam here, breathing down my neck, wanting to devour every detail I gave her.

"Anyway, he yelled at me, sort of, and let me leave. I practically ran to the elevator. I thought I was in the clear when he decided to get on too. Well, we just stood there for a moment. It was really uncomfortable. Then...we sort of made out and then I saw a camera. I freaked out and pushed him away. You showed up and we left." I took a deep breath, debating on whether or not I should tell her about the email. I knew I should, but I felt some resistance to it so I didn't add it in this segment of "update Sam". I sighed.

"Oh my god! Quite an eventful week! Sorry for bitching on you about not seeing you," she said, smiling a little before she took a sip of her coffee. I nodded, sighing as I smiled sheepishly. Sam was my best friend and I knew I could tell her anything....Well, her and Kate. My Things 2 and 3, if you will.

"Well there's something else," I said, blushing a little. She put her coffee down eagerly and she turned to face me. Her eyes were wide, her hand cradling her chin.

"Did he ask you for hot, steamy office sex?!" She gasped, her mouth forming a little "o". I laughed, my face going red as I pushed her softly.

"No, no no! God, Sam, I worry about you sometimes," I said, not able to wipe the smile off of my face. She shrugged, a giant smile still on her face.

"Yeah, I know, I do too!" she said, her usual comeback to when I say stuff like that. I smiled. "So, spill! You can't leave a girl hanging!" I nodded.

"Well, last night, he sent me an email. He said he was little upset when I pushed him away...." I faded off. She winked and did my getting it on motion. I punched her in the arm. "You've got to be kidding me, Samantha! Shut up or I won't finish!" She wiped her face of emotion and she watched me with begging eyes. "He wants to see me on Monday..... at 8." Her mouth fell open and I could see the wheels turning in her head.

"OMG, so he does wants hot steamy office sex! Sex is a good way to wake up, so I can't blame him for wanting to tap that in the morning!" she gushed, her eyes glowing. I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help but notice how my pulse went up because of the image i got because of it. "So are you going to go?" She asked. I laughed.

"It's not like I have a choice! He's my boss!" I said, thinking to myself that even if I had a choice, I still would go. I crossed my legs, trying to squish the need between my legs. She laughed, like she knew what was going through my head.

"You're day dreaming about it!" she giggled. I rolled my eyes.

"That's insane," I said, even as I pictured myself digging my nails into my back as he moaned my name from in between my legs..... Oh god.... I just went there....
