Sav's POV

Going back to work, everyone was buzzing. Chris had been there apparently early that morning and cleaned out his office. Those who dared to ask why he was cleaning, found out that he was leaving. Most people assumed that it was because of me. The amount of looks I got that were mean, made me want to cry. This was hard enough as it is. When I made it to the saftey of my office, I discovered an outstanding letter of recommendation. This would get me a job anywhere. I sat down and debated on whether or not I wanted to leave this company. The answer was obvious. I needed to leave. I went to say hello to the new CEO/CFO. Her name was Mary. When I came to talk to her, she said she that Chris came to talk to her personally about the situation and was informed to let me go that very same day. I gave her my thanks and asked her to pass them along. She nodded and soon we parted. I went back to my office and called Sam.

"Hey girlie," she greeted. I sighed.

"I quit. He gave me a L.O.R.," I said.

"Ok."

"I'm coming home early. Imma pack up and be there soon. Please tell me we have ice cream," I prayed. She laughed.

"Let me call the male resident and let him know. We should have some of your fave," she said. I smiled.

"Thanks," I said.

"Welcome," she replied before we hung up. I packed up, noticing the evil and sympathetic looks that were being sent my way. Fuck you, i thought. You think you know what happened but you people are fucking clueless. He broke my heart and I'm barely holding it together right now. So don't you dare come in here and asked me what's wrong or ask why he left. BECAUSE I DON'T FUCKING KNOW. I glared back and soon the small pity/anger party dispursed and I was left in peace to clean up. I left my office key on the desk and walked out, holding my head held high and my box of stuff clutched to my chest. I bumped into Ashley in the elevator.

"Oh, hey, Savanna!" she greeted cheerily. I nodded. "Chris left. Do you know-"

I turned on her. "No, I don't know why he fucking left ok? Stop trying to hop his dick because he is GONE AND HE'S NOT COMING BACK. HE'S FUCKING GONE OK?!" I snapped, tears building up. The elevator reached the lobby and I stormed out, tears rushing down my face.

I nearly ran like a mad man to my apartment. Alexander was waiting for me at the door. He traded my box of struff for a tub of Rocky Road. I kicked off my heels as I went in, I sat on the couch, found a marathon of The Vampire Diaries and refused to talk for the rest of the day. Alexander came by every now and then with a cup of water or some food, but I didn't accept it. I've had enough of everything.

Sam let me have a pity party for the rest of the week before she got fed up with it. Kate came over and together the tore me off the couch  and dragged me to the bathroom. They locked the door on me and refused to let me come out until I showered. Begrudginly I did as they asked, and accepted the clothes they gave me. When I came out, they took my hands and dragged me to the car. I got in the backseat and they drove me to a local chinese place. Kate pulled me out of the car and inside. We got a booth near the back. Kate sat next to me and Sam sat in front of us. I stared at my hands while they ordered for us. They knew what I liked. After the waiter left, Sam spoke.

"Savanna, you know I love you to death, but this needs to fucking stop. You've been mute for a week now. You've barely eaten and don't even get me started on your sleep," Sam chatsied.

"He left me," i whimpered. Sam and Kate sighed.

"We know sweetie," Kate said, pulling me to her side and into a hug. "But he's gone. He said he wasn't going to come back. Do you really think he'd want you to be like this?"
