My name is Nicole Gilbert. I had the perfect life with the perfect family. Until the accident of course. That's when everything changed. My parents were driving my sister and I back home. when suddenly the car went over the bridge. I don't remember how my sister and I survived when my parents didn't.
I just remember how cold the water felt and my sister screaming for help. Everything else is blurry. Loosing your parents is hard. My brother couldn't deal with it. So instead of turning to me or my sister. He turned to getting high with his looser friends. My sister turned to writing down her feeling in a journal or Diary. Whatever you wanna call it.
As for me... I didn't turn to anything or anyone for support. I just stopped being myself. I didn't wanna stop being my self. I just wasn't the same without my parents i guess and having Elena and Aunt Jenna hovering over you acting like a mom didn't help either.
I changed. I was different. It killed me inside . Sometimes I wish I didn't survive that crash.
That was until I met him.
