Golden Healing (Golden Freddy x Reader)

Chapter 1

Goldie's POV:

Even with Y/n sleeping peacefully beside me, I still feel broken. I don't know how I got to this point, but it feels like there's no turning back. I stayed awake the entire night, and now I watched as the beautiful sunrise floods the car with light. Y/n shifted in her sleep, and I fought back the smile that used to show just for her. Now I don't know what to feel around her. It's as if we started back at square one again.

I sighed, and soon enough the sleeping girl woke. She smiled and sat upright. "Good morning Goldie." Y/n said. Her half asleep voice sounded so adorable. Mentally, I smiled remembering all the good times we've spent together. I frowned externally because I remembered she doesn't have any of these glorious memories anymore. I started shaking once again. This has happened often.

Y/n looked up at me with concern. "What's the matter? You still tired?" She asked in curiosity. I shook my head and put on a fake smile to ease her worries. "I'm perfectly fine." I assured her. She shrugged and looked out the window.

"So, where are we going to today Dad?" Jake asked from the back seat. I turned around in my seat to look at him. "I don't know kiddo. Wherever Junior takes us, I don't know the answer to. It's just far, far away from our old home, that's for sure." I replied to the curious boy. He leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes. "Alright Dad." He said. I flashed a fake smile and stared at the steering wheel. I took a deep breath before turning the key and heading off to an unknown destination.

At around nine in the morning, we came across a truck stop. There was a Denny's and a Subway located at this truck stop. I've never been to one of these, so this would surely be an adventure for me. "Dennys or Subway?" I asked my two passengers. Jake shrugged, which meant he didn't care which. "I've never been to Denny's before. Can we go there?" Y/n asked. I nodded. "Yeah let's get going."

We all got out of the car, and Jake was still texting when we walked into the building. I was tempted to take his phone away, but I knew this entire journey is tough for him, too. I sighed, and soon enough we got our seats. I sat next to Y/n, and Jake on the other side of us. We got a booth seat, which was always my favourite seats in the pizzeria.

I ended up getting pancakes along with everyone else. We all are quickly, paid, and off we were to another destination. I honestly had no idea where we were going. Junior was the one taking us on the trip, not me.

Night rolled in, and I parked alongside the road once again. Jake fell asleep instantly in the back seat, and Y/n ended up leaning against me. I felt butterflies again, and it was as if I was falling in love with her all over again. I swallowed and felt myself tense up. The thought of falling for her again made me hurt, but also made me happy, too. Y/n is the most beautiful, funny, amazing girl I've ever met in my entire life times. I've seen many girls come in and out of the pizzeria, and none could compare to her.

She wrapped herself around my arm and looked up at me. "Why do you look so familiar?" She asked. I shrugged a little. "I don't know. Is it just the freckles and eyes?" I asked in response. She shook her head, then nodded slightly. "I definitely recognize those freckles. There's no doubt about it." She confirmed. I shrugged. "Well I don't know then Y/n. You should get some sleep. We've got a long journey ahead tomorrow." I told her. She her head slightly and drifted off to sleep, still clinging to my arm.

I smiled and thought This is the second best day of my life. Eventually, I fell asleep too somehow.

Hello again. I told you I'd be back with another update. Sleep isn't an option tonight, so I thought why not write some books? Here's the official first chapter of Golden Healing. Hope you liked this little filler for the story.
