Jake's POV:

It's been a few days since Leiya and I left Dad. Surprisingly, I've been getting along pretty well without him. Sometimes I think about what he's thinking or what he's doing. He's probably taking advantage of having Y/n all alone in a completely empty house. I sighed and slouched on my bed. The TV wasn't the best in the world, but it still produced quality entertainment for the most part. Most times I'd be ripped away from the TV for training by Leiya. I wondered if she was planning on attacking Dad.

I thought about a scenario similar to this one. Leiya was the bad guy more than once, that's for sure. I believe my father told me about this...

"Jake, remember to keep an eye on Leiya. She would turn her back on you in the blink of an eye. You wouldn't want that, would you?" Dad told me. I nodded my little head and smiled. As a five year old boy, I loved everyone and everything, even broccoli. At that age, Leiya was practically my best friend. "I'm serious Jake. Leiya tried to take everything I loved one day, and she was successful for a few months. After that, she helped me get your mother back. However, that wasn't the end of Evil Leiya. I'm beginning to think it's the Hellian side of her that's starting to show, and who knows how long it's going to take for the Hellian side to take control completely." Dad said.

It's funny how I just remembered that memory now. Had Dad wiped that memory from my mind, or had it been Leiya? The possibilities are probably endless, and I was capable of knowing very few. Outside there were some magical sounds. I looked out the window, and Leiya was practicing nature magic, or something like that. I haven't exactly been reading my magic books, but I sure know how to do some things. I've discovered how to teleport, and Leiya hasn't figured that out yet. One day, I'm going to scare her by teleporting behind her.

I watched as thorny vines grew and coiled around a log. The coils tightened, and sap started to leak out of the log. I winced a little and practically felt the thorns piercing into my skin. After a few seconds, the log burst into pieces. The pieces went everywhere, and the log was no more. I jumped a little and began to feel frightened by Leiya's newfound power. She's probably had it all along, but she didn't understand how to use or control it.

Without thinking of the consequences, I packed some things in a small back pack. I knew I would get punished for what I was about to do, but it was the right thing to do. I threw in a few other things, and I teleported home.

I had to warn Dad about Leiya, and fast.

Y/n's POV:

Goldie was lying on the couch fast asleep. I didn't want to wake him because he's probably going through a lot. He just lost his son and his best friend, and I can't imagine what he's going through. I heard a knock at the door, and I headed towards the door. Thankfully, the knocking didn't wake up Goldie. Taking a deep breath, I opened the door.

I was face to face with Jake. I was surprised at how much he's grown physically in the few short days he was away. Gulping nervously, I started to form a greeting. "H-Hello there Jake. W-What brings you here?" He looked at me, glanced behind him, and pointed towards his back pack that I hadn't noticed before. "I need to talk to Goldie and form a plan with him. Leiya is going to kill me for revealing her intended plans, but my father is what I'm worried about." Jake explained with a serious look on his face.

Even though I was skeptical about the boy's intentions, I allowed him inside. After all, he is Goldie's son. There really isn't solid reason as to why I shouldn't. "Goldie's still asleep, but I can wake him up for you." I said quietly. Jake nodded and walked towards the kitchen. "You need any help with dinner?" He asked. This question alarmed me a bit. Why would he ask to help with dinner? "Uh...not really. Why do you ask?" I said suspiciously. He seemed to detect my concern for Goldie's safety. "Listen, I'm not going to poison him. I've been taught to cook, and I've been cooking for myself since Leiya took me with her. I really didn't go out of my own will. I knew she would do something bad to me if I didn't, and yet she taught me some things that are useful for you guys' side. I'm here to help you, I promise." Jake explained. I sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I could use some help with dinner. Thank you, Jacob." I said. He shook his head. "It's Jake, not short for Jacob, just Jake." He said as we walked into the kitchen.

Every now and then Jake would glance at Goldie sleeping on the couch. I wish I had mind reading abilities to tell what he was thinking. Then again I wanted that to know what Goldie was thinking as well. Sometimes it sucked to be a mortal human. There are a few times where it's been amazing. Like being able to experience feeling and sensations, going swimming and other things. Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I were to be like Goldie.

Little did I know, I've already experienced it.

~~~~Author's Note~~~~
Hey guys! The update is on time surprisingly. Have you checked out my new book to replace Afraid's spot on the schedule? The book is called Run Away, and it's a FNAF horror story. I feel as if the FNAF fandom doesn't quite go by the horror aspects of the game. The story is told in a human environment, and to know more head on over to the book! I haven't exactly done a horror book yet, but I hope it's going to be a hit just like Golden Heart and Keep On Dancing was. It seems as if my audience prefers fan fiction rather than novels and stories I write from my imagination. That's alright though, I'll do anything to make my lovely readers happy.
Also, have you checked out the contest  information? I'm reposting the information today if you'd like me to. Comment if you want me to send you the information through PM!
Have a wonderful day/night!!!!
