Kathy's POV
It was a new day and the sun was out smiling brightly. I skipped to the school feeing all fluttery inside. Damion has been so nice to me! I'm so lucky to have him! I open the doers and see Damion at my locker waiting for me. "Hey babe." I smiled at him and he walked me to my class.
It was 4th period and I haven't seen Vi yet. I wonder where she is? Not many people like her but I thought she had some potential to make some friends or emotions. I asked Damion if he knew where she was. "No I haven't. Don't you think she's a little... protective of you?" He's just like everyone else!
"Well, she's never had any friends! Of course she's going to be protective! Why does everyone dislike her? She's so nice!" He sighed. "Kath, everyone sees it but you! She's just not right! She's seen more death than the average person! She's bound to be crazy!" I huffed at him. "Well, you are just nice. I'm trying to mold her into a good person! Ignoring her doesn't do anything."
Then with no warning, the fire alarm went off.
