"Can you explain to me what REM is" the judge ask "it's an sleeping disorder that makes you attack people in your sleep the test study we did shows that Mr.Salvador has it and can explain why he doesn't remember assaulting those woman because he was sleeping" his lawyer says "with this new information I've made my now final verdict" the judge says everyone stands "I sentence Mr.Salvador to 6 years in prison" the judge says leaving out the put Vincent into the handcuffs we make eye contact but I look away grabbing my purse I leave out of the court house

It's been over a week since Vincent got sentenced and I was just leaving school when I heard someone "Jasmine Jackson" I turned to see a man I've never seen before or I think so he looks familiar kinda "yeah do I know you" I asked confused "oh no I'm Vincent older brother I'm Nathen come with me" he says no leaving room for an answer

"Are you hungry" he asked when we got to the restaurant "no" I say wanting to go home but of course my stomach started to hurt "I'll have a steak medium rare with a glass of red wine" he says to the waiter "and you Miss"

I huff "a chicken sandwich with tomatoes and fries" I say "would you like a glass of wine" I shake my head "no hot chocolate would be fine" I say he nods and walked away "so I take it your still pregnant"

he says I nod doing my homework "my brother has told me you will not be keeping the child" I nod he closed my book taking my homework out of hand making me look at him "your very rude" I seat back folding my arms "you are too"

"Is my brother paying you to abort your child" I looked at him confused "no he's not" the waiter comes bringing our drinks "are you scared of my brother"

Our food came I couldn't wait and bit into the sandwich "I want to know if you don't have an abortion" he says "it doesn't matter I can't is that all you wanted to know"

I say "yes and Vincent would like to know if you'd allow him to call him" I shrugged going into my purse pulling out the money putting it on the table when I'm done "yeah sure"

"Jazz you remember when I told you I quit being an Escort because I got tired of it" I nod "yeah why" I say why's she bring this up all of a sudden "I lied I got pregnant by one of my clients" she says making me seat up "really"

she nods "yeah he made me get an abortion not wanting anyone to find out" Tyler started crying "I didn't want to do it and I regret it everyday I could have had someone who loved me who cared about me it would have been 4 last month" she says I remember she took a week off last month too but she always takes time off every year around that time I just never really paid attention

"Tyler why are you saying all of this" I say she whipped her tears away "because he suggested it and I just went along with it knowing deep inside I didn't want to but went along with it and Jazz I know you just going along with it"

I shrugged "I have work and school how I'm I going to find time for a baby Tyler" I say putting my head down crying "y'all make it seem like it's so easy just to say yeah I want it  but it's not Vincent already have a fiancé and baby-"
