Destiny takes a deep breath as she watches the people around her do their job in making her look beautiful for the occasion. She meets brown eyes staring at her through the mirror.

"All good." One of the women announces making her smile in gratitude to all of them. She stays seated as she watches them file out of the room leaving her with her friend.

"You look absolutely beautiful." The brown eyed woman tells her as she stops behind the chair. "How are you feeling?"

"Nervous." Destiny answers quickly, wringing her fingers together as a nervous habit. "I don't wanna pass out during the ceremony." She adds taking another deep breath to calm her nerves. "I want this to be perfect. She deserves perfect." A smile crosses the other woman's lips.

"It will be perfect. You both deserve it." The woman tells her looking into blue eyes through the mirror. Destiny smiles her gratitude at her friend's reassuring words.

Flashback

Sam smiles at her girlfriend as she dances with her cousins. Destiny has decided that watching her dance so carefree is enough for now. The girl didn't want to intrude on the cousins' moment. She hears that sweet laughter as the Baltimores do ridiculous dance moves, trying to outdo each other one at a time. Sam looks over at her and banishes the competition from her mind, only thinking of Destiny and how happy the woman is looking at them. Sam bites her lip as she dances rather flirtatiously as she keeps those blue eyes lock into hers.

Destiny is well aware that her girlfriend is teasing her and all, casting away the ongoing competition with her cousins. The moment she's given the 'come hither' look, she couldn't deny but feel her throat dry up. She realizes that giving into Sam right away would be called a victory for the redhead and so she decides to play the game by staying seated on her chair before giving Sam a challenging look.

Sam mentally rolls her eyes but dances her way to her very attractive date, offering her hands to Destiny who takes it right away.

"Dance with me." She whispers. They walk, well Sam dances, to the dance floor just stopping near the center as the music changes to a slow one. Everyone else coupled up to the song and they dance to the slow rhythm.

Destiny places her hands on Sam's hips while the latter wraps her arms around the former's neck. Bluish-gray eyes meet joyous green ones, Ellie is watching the couple dance forgetting the world around them as they are contented with one another. She smiles seeing how happy her niece is in the arms of the one she loves getting a smile back from the younger girl before she looks back to her partner's blue eyes.

"Let's get out of here." Sam whispers getting a confused look from Destiny. She doesn't bother saying anything else just grabs her hand and drags her out of the reception into the cool night.

End of Flashback

Sam smiles warmly at her aunt Ellie as people put finishing touches before leaving the room. The older woman stands up walking to her niece.

"You look absolutely gorgeous." Ellie remarks in all honesty getting a grateful smile.

"I hope so. I don't want her to change her mind and leave me." Sam jokes, chuckling nervously.

"Oh honey. That girl is crazy for you. She will never change her mind." Ellie states with conviction.

Sam tries to relax but she can't help to feel nervous considering it is a big day for them. The day that she never thought would come into her life but here she is now, standing in a room waiting for the ceremony to start. You really can't blame her for feeling nervous at the same time excited.
