Hermione held the phone in her hands, her mouth gaping slightly. Draco? Does whoever this person mean.... Draco Malfoy? Ferret extraordinaire? One of her worst enemies since fifth grade?? She couldn't believe it. She tried to think that there was someone else named Draco with the same time zone, but who in the world would name their kid that? Only the stiffest and richest parents obviously.
But she had a tiny tiny crush on one of the most obnoxious people on the planet! She needed to breath. "Hermione, darling! Your friends are here!"
Her mum called out loudly from downstairs, shocking her out of whatever she was thinking about. She nodded before realising that her mum couldn't see her, "alright mum! Just tell them to come up here!"
A couple of minutes later the door swung open and there were her two best girl friends. Ginny and Luna. Luna was very weird and eccentric and clashed with her a lot, but she wouldn't change the other girl for the world.
She smiled happily at the two of them and forgot about the whole situation she had. For now.
