UUgh my head. I looked around slowly. Glass cage. Another 23 Tributes ringed a black metal shape int the center. Some stood calmly. Some were crying. Some were trying to break the glass. Text flashed on my cage.
Welcome Tribute. The glass will now be lowered. If anyone touches the ground before the end of the countdown, a mine will be set off, killing you. Supplies are in the Cornucopia. This is a fight to the death so expect the others to try their best to kill you. May the blocks be ever in your favor......
Judging by the faces of the other Tributes, they saw the same text. The kid next to me was the Wolf who I soon had found out was Vince. He was the one I beat up at Training. He caught my eye and grinned. Vince means to kill me. Quickly. I could take a chance and run to the Cornucopia or run away. I could see several backpacks and multiple weapons. I really should run. Ender gleamed in the sunlight. I really really should run. Medical supplies. Amber and Nya are taking their chances. They will have a better chance then I would if I run away.
