I'm half-asleep right now so I apologize if this seems half-assed. Two fanfics in one day + school = I am BRAINDEAD XD

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy~ This is the second part to my first Damian Wayne x Reader, Messing Up!

2nd person POV

The next day, as you were ordered to by Damian, you presented yourself in the training room. Five minutes early. Perfect. You had enough time to set this all up...

"What is this?"

Dami's harsh, demanding voice abruptly shot you out of your thoughts.

Spinning in place to face him, you warmly smiled at him, and struggled to keep your giggles to yourself. "I've prepared the room for our painting session, Damian."

"Fool!" He growled impatiently as he stomped over, his furious green eyes scanning the two easels you had set up in the middle of the room. At their feet, a few bottles of paint sat. He looked up at you, his gaze burning into yours as he scolded, "I said training, not painting!"

"Oh, I know," you advised him, now returning his serious expression. "But I thought some change would do us some good. My bruises need some time to heal, you know."

"Weak," the boy spat in disgust. You expected him to launch himself into a reproaching lecture, or to at least leave the room, but... Nope. He simply stood there, quietly, almost expectantly.

It took you mere moments to realize that he, like you were, was waiting for you to dare make the first move. With a sigh, you went over to the pile of materials you had brought, took out two brushes, and handed him one. He grumbled a quiet, hesitant thanks before turning toward his canvas.

You admired him work for a few moments. You liked the way his brows furrowed when he concentrated, how his frown would sometimes relax into the smallest smile, how his savannah-green eyes expertly scanned the image before him...

You had gotten your inspiration. With a small hum, you turned toward your own easel, and started to paint.

The both of you spent the entire afternoon working. Not a single word was exchanged, but you didn't mind. The usual-tense atmosphere was gone, replaced with a laid-back, peaceful feeling. Not having Damian scold at you for every little thing you did was good enough for you.

Alfred joined you occasionally, bringing various drinks and snacks. The dozen of times he asked Bruce's son about what he was painting were all that broke the lengthy silence. The boy would reply with a cold, "None of your business," or, "Go away, Alfred." You giggled each time he did; his grumpiness amused you. Oddly enough, Damian never commented about your doing so.

It was around dinnertime when finally, both of you were finished. Standing back, you admired your work.

While you weren't the best artist ever, you were still quite satisfied. Your drawing was easily recognizable as a young man with handsome, sharp features and deep green eyes.

"Who?"

You turned toward Damian. Gesturing toward your canvas, he repeated, "Who is he?"

"He's..." You nervously gulped, feeling your cheeks warm up slightly. There was no point in denying it though, you knew it. He'd figure it out before long if you kept it away from him. "It's you, Dami. I painted you."

An unreadable expression fell over your crush's face. Keeping his eyes focused on your art, he questioned slowly, "...Why did you paint me?"

"B-Because I think you're handsome."

It was Dami's turn to blush. With a hiss, he turned his head away quickly, but you still had a chance to catch a glimpse of his cheeks. And God, believe me when I say his reddened face was adorable .

"You've no need to be so frank (Y/N)."

Although you were so embarrassed yourself, you couldn't help but laugh softly.

You then turned your attention toward his canvas, and couldn't help but gasp in awe. Goodness, you weren't sure what exactly he had illustrated, but it was breathtaking . The shading, the perfect cherry-red colour, the realistic curves... It looked like an oval, only the upper half folded inwards, forming a vertex in the middle.

"What about you Damian? What did you paint?" You queried curiously, hoping you'd relieve his awkwardness.

But goodness, you accomplished quite the opposite!

He seemed to panic, his green eyes flying back upwards toward you. He hastily backed away, placing himself in front of his easel, like if wanting to hide it from view. "N-Nothing!" He stammered nervously, his entire face and neck beet-red. "I-I mean, it's two pea pods. Y-Yes, that's it, two red pea pods!"

You took a step closer toward him, wanting to get a better look. "...Pea pods? It looks more like-"

You were cut off by a muffled 'bang'.

Damian, as you had approached, had stepped back and accidentally walked onto the bottle of red paint, making it spray the scarlet-coloured liquid all over his front. That'd surely leave a mark on his clothes.

Gasping, you quickly reached for a tissue and rushed to his side. "Oh goodness, let me fix that, just hold still-"

"NO!!"

You stared at the boy, shocked by his sudden outburst. He averted his gaze and muttered quietly, "...I mean... No thanks..."

You couldn't help but keep gaping. Damian had never acted so... Polite toward you before. Ever .

You smiled faintly to yourself. Deciding to ignore what he had said, you started dabbing at the paint on his shirt. Although you knew it wouldn't come off completely, you did it anyway, and with much care.

Finally, you reached his face. There was a spot of paint on his cheek.

You felt him stiffen under your touch as you gently wiped it off. Since you were so concentrated on your task, you didn't notice his cheeks go a crimson colour.

"...Your lips."

"What?" Confused, you withdrew, staring up at him. Only then did you realize how close you were. Your eyes greedily took the opportunity to drink in his handsome features, making you blush slightly.

"I painted... I-I painted your lips."

Okay. This had to be a dream. This just couldn't be true.

Yet, it was, and you knew it. This was all reality.

Your lips...

"Do you want them... Up close and personal?"

His shady eyes widened in shock. Although, he didn't pull back. That was good enough for you.

"I-I-"

You promptly leaned forward and sealed his lips with yours, silencing him. A small, surprised hum escaped from him, followed by one of appreciation, before he started kissing you back. His lips were a bit chapped, but warm and soft, you noted. While your hands automatically shot up and started weaving their way through his dark hair, his own slowly snaked around your waist, bringing you closer against him-

"Now, would you look at that! Young love at its purest!"

Both Damian and you immediately unglued yourself from each other, spinning to see Alfred at the door, watching you both with an amused expression.

A scowl fell over Dami's face instantly. "Alfred," he warned lowly, his eyes narrowed in frustration.

The butler seemed to get the message, fortunately. "Why, would you look at the time! I should be preparing tea for Master Bruce!" Hurriedly going back into the hallway, he shut the door behind him, leaving the both of you alone.

Turning back toward you with a smirk, Damian pulled you back toward him eagerly and purred, "Now, where were we~?"
