Ch.68 Damage Done

BRIANNA'S POV.

I never texted Ramon back after that night.

He's called and called but I don't answer.

I needed to take the time to figure out what I want to do but I'm so confused.

Is this how shits gonna be if me and Ramon get back together?

I can't even tell my family because things will get blown out of proportion.

I either leave Ramon and face the consequences or stick it out and see what happens.

It's a lot to think about.

Today I have to take Maceo to him and in not looking forward to it.

I don't even want to see Ramon until I make a decision whether I want to stay with him or not.

Just the thought of seeing him right now makes me uncomfortable.

So I come up with an idea.

I pick up Mace sitting him on my hip and I go to Xavier's room and he's not there.

I go to Gio's room, he's not there.

I go to the kitchen and I see Jr. putting a pack of beer into the fridge.

"Aye what's up" he says as he notices me come into the kitchen.

"You're always here you might as well move in Jr." I tell him.

"I'm good, too much drama here" he says teasingly.

I just smile and roll my eyes.

"So um, I have a huge favor to ask you" I say nervously.

He glares at me "what is it" he asks.

"Um, I have to take Maceo to see his dad but I don't really want to like, see his dad right now so could you take him please" I practically beg.

"Why don't you want to see that foo?" He asks suspiciously.

"Because I just don't" I simply say.

"Nah you always take Mace all of a sudden you don't why not?" He asks suspecting something.

But I'm not gonna say the real reason why.

"We're fighting right now and I just- I'd just rather not see him okay" I sigh.

"You're fuckin' scared or what?" He asks protectively.

Knowing I'm intimidated by Ramon will really piss my brothers way off and they'll want to know what he did to make me like that.

"No I'm not scared I just don't want to see him" I immediately tell him.

He smacks his lips.

"Come on please I'll go with you I just don't want to get off he's gonna try talking to me I don't want to" I say to him.

He sighs.

"Aight then let's go" he tells me beginning to walk away.

"Hold Legend so I can't put his car seat in your car" I say handing him Mace as we go outside.

I get his seat from my car and put it into his and then put Maceo in.

I'm anxious as we drive to Ramon's house.

What if he asks Jr. if he can talk to me?

I just don't want to be bothered by him.

Not until I make up my mind at least.
