"Kenz, I have some good news for you!" Maddie tells me.
"What is it?!" I ask curiously.
"You're going to be making a new song!" Maddie says excitedly.
"Wow. Cool." I say.
"It gets even better. You're doing it with Johnny!" Maddie says.
"Really?" I ask disbelievingly.
"Yes!" Maddie says. "Its called 'Day and Night. And its a love song."
"Awh..!" Mom gushes.
"Cool. Does he know?"
"Probably. Yes." Maddie says, obviously wishing she could have been the one to tell him.
"I have a suprise for you." Maddie says mysteriously.
The doorbell chimes loudly.
"Ah. Its here." Maddie says, "Do you mind getting it Kenz?"
"No." I say and I go to the door to see the suprise.
I look through the peephole to see my best friend standing there.
"Brynn!" I squeal, running towards her and squeezing her tight.
"Kenzie!" Brynn says, hugging me back.
"Its so good to see you. I've missed you so much!" I say.
Every since I left the ALDC, me and Brynn don't get to hang out as much as we used to.
"Aw, Kenz, I've missed you too." Brynn says. "We have so much to catch up on."
We go upstairs after I thank Maddie for the suprise. We talk about Abby and the ALDC.
"I wish you and Maddie were still there..." Brynn says.
"Yeah. Me too." I say.
We talk a bit more after that until its time for Brynn to go.
"Will I get to see you again?" I ask, hopeful.
"Definetly!" Brynn says and gives me a quick hug.

"You and Johnny are apparently dating yet you do not hang out or do anything together." Nicole complains.
"What I don't get is why you don't make any attempt whatsoever to get together." Jessica says.
"I do!" I say defensively. "I asked him if he wanted to hang out after rehearsal today!"
"And what did he say?" Nicole says, piping up with interest.
"He's going to Nadia's house." I say.
"WHAT?!" Jessica screeches.
"What's he going there for?" Nicole asks.
"They're starting their science projects." I say.
"Already?" Katie says shocked.
"Yeah." I say.
"Its just our luck that they were put together." Nicole mutters.
"Guys, chill! Its just a science project!" I say.
