"Nadia...what are you doing here?" I ask her.
She looks at me blankly.
"Didn't you get my text?" Nadia says.
"What text?" I say as I pull out ny phone and check my messages. "Oh. There it is. 'Can we work on the science project today? Your house? After school?'"
"See!" Nadia says triumphantly. "We were meant to work on it today."
"Ehhh. No we weren't. I never said yes." I say.
"Well you never said no either." She says. She spots Mackenzie and scowls.
"What is she doing here?" Nadia says looking at Mackenzie. "She's with Jessica for the science project."
"She's here because she's my girlfriend." I say.
Nadia looks taken aback.
"And I'm still wondering why you're here." I say.
"I told you the science project-" Nadia says.
"Can't you two sort this out somewhere else?" Lauren groans. "You're doing my head in."
Me and Nadia leave and go into the sitting room.
"So why are you really here?" I ask her.
"Hayden told me about your plan." She says.
