I stared longingly at the angel that was going through Dean's suits. We had to stop a demon from making deals at a mayors dance. It was a formal event so we had to be all fancy.

I felt a playful slap on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Dean. 'I know your secret' he mouthed. 'Don't you fucking dare.' I mouth back to him.

I've had a crush on Castiel fooooorrrrever. I can't help it, mind you, when has anyone been able to help having a crush?

"You should go and get dressed in something more fancy than that (Y/n)." Dean told me.

I mimic him in my head before heading to my room in the bunker. I grab my fanciest clothes and throw them on. I style my hair so it's not its usual messy wreak.

A few minutes later I was ready to ready to go. I walk out and see the boys. Sam, Dean, and Castiel were chatting in the main room of the bunker. "Let's get going." I tell them.

The town hall wasn't anything extravagant but it looked quite nice due to the nice decorations. The theme was light blue and black. Pretty much anything formal is themed black and a bright color.

"Okay, go talk with the people and see if anything is suspicious with the townsfolk." Dean told us."

"The main thing to do is blend." Sam reminded us. I nodded and grabbed a glass of wine off of one of the trays that a waitress was carrying. I was going to need a shit ton of booze. I don't like formal events liked this, and especially if my long-time crush was going to be in the same room, a few steps away from me at all times!

We all split up and begin to mingle and or dance with the other people. Me on the other hand, I was just chilling at a table with the mayor, his wife, and daughter. His son was nowhere to be seen, I assume since he probably isn't anti-social like me, he is probably mingling.

I spotted Dean from across the room and he looked back at me. He nodded his head to the his left and I looked to where he motioned. Cas stood at the other end of the hall where Dean motioned. 'Fuck no, I can't.' I mouthed back to Dean.

He rolled his eyes then made his way towards me. My eyes widened and I backed up a little bit. He grabbed my arm gently then dragged me towards Castiel. "You asswipe." I whispered just loud enough for him to hear.

"Okay, somebody has gotta dance with (Y/n), but I can't find Sam and I got a good conversation that is possibly a lead." Dean explained to Castiel and I.

"Why to I need to dance with somebody?" I ask Dean. Deep down inside I wanted to dance with him so badly, but I was really scared of him rejecting me.

"You are being anti-social over with the mayor, when I find Sam, he'll go talk with him." He pushed me towards Cas, then pushed us both onto the dancefloor.

Then of course, a slow song came on.

Cas and I awkwardly started to dance. "I'm sorry that Dean did this Cas, you probably had something else going on." I apologized to him.

"It's okay (Y/n), I wasn't doing anything, this is actually quite pleasant." Cas reassured me.

He stared at eyes with content and I blinked. He slowly leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back with a passion and I loved it. I heard running footsteps and we quickly pulled apart. Sam stood there trying to keep a grin off of his face.

"You know, I'll just leave you two alone." He says before walking away.
