Alicia pulled into the gate of her home, and noticed that her husband's car wasn't in the driveway. It's the second night in a row that he hasn't been home. Not that she minded, she just needed to know what time he was going to be home. Just a precaution. She had better things to do than to sit around and worry about her husband. He was more like her ATM. She didn't have to work. She never did. She would never be with a man who made her anything less than a trophy wife. From beach houses to shopping spree. The man she was with had to do everything in between.

In the beginning of their relationship, she had to play the role of hard worker. She played it so well that Gavin asked her to quit her job. Her plan had been working so well for the last eight years, but she couldn't put her finger on what made things feel different. She thought that it may be the fact that her husband wasn't under like he usually was. He didn't have many friends. Well except for the ones at the country club. Especially Tyler. Tyler was like a brother to Gavin, and for last seven months they have spoken to one another. Not that it was Alicia's fault. Whatever he was doing only drove Tyler and Alicia closer together. Tyler offered her more than being a trophy wife. He offered her the one thing that Gavin couldn't or more like didn't have time to give her: a kid.

Her child would be her legacy, and she would never have to work a day in her life again. All she had to do was trick Gavin into thinking that he was the father. Even if that didn't work she would have Tyler. It was win-win for her. She looked at her phone screen, shocked that Gavin hung up on her. He never treated her like that. Something was up with him, and she was going to get to the bottom of it. She believed that she was not some second rate woman who deserved to be belittle. She felt that she was a goddess, and men should fall at her feet, and Gavin had better start falling or she was going to go to extreme measures.

Alicia got out of her Mercedes, handing her keys to Jeremy before instructing him to bring her bags inside. As she walked into the house, she headed straight for Gavin's office. She knew that he was up to something, and she knew that she could find it in his office. She walked into his office, and was instantly engulfed by the smell of Gavin's Dolce & Gabana cologne. She smiled at the scent, not because it reminded her of Gavin, but of Tyler. She had bought it for Gavin, but it was really for herself, so that it always took her mind to Tyler. It was a manly scent not suited for Gavin, but she loved to smell it. It made her body melt even if no one was around to cool the heat.

She rummaged around in his large mahogany desk. Drawer after drawer, and she still couldn't find anything. As she opened the last drawer, she found that it kept getting stuck on something. Pulling the drawer out above it completely out,  she reached over top, and pulled out what was blocking the drawer. There was manila envelope with a date written on it. Sitting it on the desk, she finally managed to pull the drawer open. Stacks and stacks of manila envelopes filled the drawer. Each envelope with a date, going all the way back for six months. Under all of the envelopes sat his wedding ring. A slight pain stung her heart as she saw it in the ring box she bought it in. How had she not noticed it not on his finger? It wasn't as if she wore hers everyday. She sat down completely in the large rolling chair behind the desk, and gathered her thoughts.

Her eyes flashed back and forth from the ring to the envelopes in front of her. Something pulling inside her to leave the room, but something else telling her to figure out what was going on. she didn't know what would change between the two of the them. She had done more dirt than he could ever do, so she didn't know why she was so afraid to find out what was inside of the envelope. Taking a deep breath, she opened the envelope that was dated six weeks ago. She pulled out a stack of pictures that were faced down. Turning them over, she frowned as picture after picture of Andrea came up. Hate grew in her stomach, as she remembered introducing Andrea to Gavin, and now here he was practically going insane over her. Jealousy sparked through her as Andrea looked amazing in nearly every picture, and she didn't even know that she was being photographed.

As Alicia continued to flipped through the pictures she came up to a picture of Josiah. She ran her fingers across the smooth surface of the picture. She never noticed how attractive he was. He was smiling from ear to ear. His short hair styled perfectly on his head. He coffee bean eyes sparkled behind the frames of his glasses. She stared at the way his chest and arms looked sculpted in his red polo shirt. His legs were covered in khaki pants. She continued to flip through picture and picture of Josiah, until she came upon one that had an X across his face. A frown came across her face, as she thought about what it meant. As she flipped through the last photo in the stack, Alicia realized that Gavin was more obsessed with Andrea than she could have ever thought.

In the last picture on stack, Josiah and Andrea were at the beach. They were walking hand in hand. Andrea's plum swimsuit molded to her body, while Josiah looked just as delicious in a pair of blue swim trunks. The picture had scratches more like drag marks all over Josiah's body, but Andrea was left untouched. Where their hands were connected had been so scratched up, that it seemed that they were never holding hands. Angered fueled through Alicia as she thought about what Gavin could be up to, but then more anger fueled through her as she realized that Andrea was attempting to take her husband away from her, and that was something that she just couldn't have.
