I was forced to stay in the back of the car, even when we had arrived to the destination: my childhood home. The windows were down, so I heard the conversations going on.

"Where is she, dad? We want to apologize." I hear Adeline say with a light tone. Hmm. He lets out a distressed breath. Me and dad had a little... Talk.. a few minutes ago.

"Girls. I need you to understand something," he says. I roll my eyes at his attempt to keep it quiet, but failing miserably. "Your... Your sister is... Different?" he offers.

"What do you mean, dad?" I hear Genevieve ask. I feel my jaw clench at her voice.

"She's uh.. Well.. I'll let you see for yourself." he says, before opening the van door. The officers assigned to me at the moment grab my arms and drag me out. I look watch the blonde officer with an eyebrow raised. He glances to me and I smirk, winking, and bite my lips suggestively. He shakes his head. I smile.

"So, dad, why was I dragged back to my personal hell?" I ask, looking him dead in the eye. Adeline puts a hand over her mouth. I glance to the other cop next to me, a black haired guy. "You're cute.." I trail off, "want my digits?" I ask, a lopsided smile making it's way on my face.

Genevieve makes a choking sound, but I ignore my sisters.

God. Their appearence strikes me though. Both in jeans, sweaters, converse sneakers, and hair pulled back in a ponytail. They had even rid of the monstrous makeup they called beauty.

The guy looks down and meets my eyes. I smile. He doesn't look away. A smile slowly takes over his expression, but he blinks, and shakes his head quickly. I let out a breath. "Hmm. I was sure it would work. Seems cops are a little too... Self-rightous." I finish, bumping my hip to his.

"You were brought back because your only 17 and you ran away." Dad answers my previous question, seemingly mad at the scene I just caused. My sisters are rendered speechless at the mere sight of me. I get it, I get it. With the ripped black jeans, purple crop top, cropped leather jacket and pumps, I'm sure I'm a sight.

"Yeah, and if you had left me be just eight more months, I coulda been free. Ugh. Where am I even going to find a photagraphy company around here, along with a honey shop with a nice man behind the counter I befriend and tell my secrets to?" I ask, my irratance growing.

Whatever he's about to say is cut off by the sound of my phone ringing in my back pocket. I raise my eyebrows and lift my hands which are now in front of me.

You can imagine their shock when I managed to unlock the handcuffs. They decided to put the handcuffs in front of me. The black haired cop reacts first and unlocks me. I rub my wrists before grabbing my phone and lifting up the caller ID.

I let out a sigh.

Answer.

"You got yourself arrested?! I told you I needed those photos, Laila!" I let out a hissing sound.

"Dammit! I'm sorry! My, uh, situation is kind of a good reason this time. I promise. But I have them on my camera. I promise. I got it for you." I tell him, going to the front door of the car, popping the trunk, and getting opening the closest box. I take out the camera, keeping the phone on my shoulder.

"You better have my damn photos! I heard your relocated, so I'm putting you in the same position at the closer company building near your town. Send the photos in the mail today. Good riddance." he mutters.

"I'll get you what you want. Calm the hell down, B. Get them to you soon. Bye." I say, and hang up. "Hate him." I mutter, glaring at my phone.

"Who was that. And what was that about?" Ashton asks lowly. He's clearly angry with me. Oh well.
