A/N
There's gonna be a time skip of 3 months... so... yeah. Thanks to DynamicVoltage for the idea! And also, today's a random update so this is the random update.

~3 months later~
Echo's PoV:
Jack's doing better, but he mostly stays alone. With the death of his mother and Mark missing... I don't know how much he can take. He stares at his hands a lot of the time. I see him on the couch, laying down with a blanket covering his slender body. We've tried getting him to eat more than he does, but he just eats a few bites then says he isn't hungry. We even tried cookies, cake, ice cream, still no difference. He isn't himself, that's for sure. I go over to him and see he's asleep. I sigh and pull the blanket up a bit more so it's laying over his shoulders. I see him move a bit. He starts mumbling in his sleep and looks like he's struggling.

I place my hand on his shoulder and shake him gently. He bolts up and almost hits me, he then looks at me. Flower walks in and we just all silently look at each other. We hear a knock on the door, and we all jump in surprise. I go towards the door, Flower behind me. I open the door and see Mark Flower and I both hug him and bring him inside. We bring Mark to the living room, where Jack's sitting on the couch. He sees Mark and jumps up and runs over. He hugs Mark and kisses him over and over. Flower and I gently push them to the couch. They sit down and Jack leans against Mark. I look at Mark, he hasn't said a word yet.

"What happened, Mark?" I ask slowly, knowing he might not wanna talk about it. He doesn't answer at all, he just looks at the floor. I hear a cough and look at Jack, who's pale from malnutrition and stress. I sigh.

"Jack, you need to eat." Flower says. Jack doesn't say anything, he just sits, curled in a ball, leaning against Mark. Mark looks at Jack.

Mark's PoV:
As Flower tells him to eat, I notice how skinny he is. I pull him closer to me and pull him so he's sitting sideways on my lap and leaning his side against me. He lays his head on my shoulder and buries his face in the crook of my neck.

"Jack," Echo says slowly and gently. He buries his face more into my neck. I look at Echo and Flower and slightly tilt my head. Echo notices and sighs. Flower grabs Jack so Echo can tell me what's happening without Jack being there to hear and get upset. Jack just clings to my shirt. I hug him and pick him up and go to his room and lay him on his bed. He looks at me as I get off of his bed. He grabs my shirt and pulls me back down. I lay next to him and he pulls me close so his face is buried in my chest. I rub his back silently and kiss the top of his head. As Jack slowly falls asleep I look out the window.

Flower's PoV:
Echo and I are in the kitchen, making some food for everyone to eat. I look at Echo and give her a worried look as she has a sad look on her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask and she looks at me.

"Do you think Mark's going silent again? I mean, we already have to deal with Jack not talking to us, but Jack just got Mark out of it, I don't want Mark going back to being silent..." She trails off and I place a hand on her shoulder and she looks at me, tears running down her face. Despite what people think about her, she's still able to cry. I hug her.

"I don't know, Echo. We can only hope he isn't and if he is, then we have to help them both. But I think most of the work will be done from them helping each other, we weren't able to help Mark too much before, so all we can really do is try to help and hope that they both go back to normal."

Echo sighs and wipes away her tears. "I just don't like seeing them like this. It tears me up inside."

"I know." I smile kindly and we go back to cooking.

We then hear a loud thud from upstairs...
