It was about 1pm, and I was getting ready to hang out with Duke somewhere, it was a surprise.
Now I was practically freaking out because when I looked in the mirror this morning, I spotted that Jacob freaking gave me a large stupid hickey.
The stuff I do for food gosh.
Anyways, I grab some concealer & dab a bit over it, rubbing it in trying to cover the mark.
It looked decent, so I was satisfied.
My hair was still curled, so I didn't have to do much to it.
By the way I was wearing an olive colored jacket with an black tank top, & these cute little gray Nike tights.

I head downstairs to find Jacob & that Maggie girl, eating what looks like ... my cereal?!
"Why are you eating my cereal?" I say sternly to Jacob.
"Woah, calm down Sour patch," he said, earning a laugh from Maggie, which I rolled my eyes, "Mines was all gone & I didn't think you would mind." he said, scooping a bite into his mouth.
"Well I do, and it better not happen again." I said bluntly as I grab banana & walk out the door. I heard them laugh as I walked out.
Weirdos. What do they even see in each other?!
I sit on the porch swing as I pull out my phone & call Duke.
It takes a few rings for him to pick up.
"Hey babe, you almost here?" I ask urgently.
"Yeah, just a few minutes." he responded.
"Okay, can't wait for this date, I really wanna know where you're taking me." I said smiling, even though he couldn't see it.
"You'll see." he said.
"Okay, see you soon." I said, hanging up the phone.
It's been awhile since our last date, & I couldn't wait.
