Daniella Campbell

I gasped as I heard my dad's voice on the other line.

I gulped.

Me: Hi daddy!

Dad: My princess! How are you?

Me: I-I'm fine! How about you? Why did you call?

Dad: I need to run through some business there so I'm coming back.

Me: W-When?

Dad: Tomorrow. Want to join breakfast with me at our favorite coffee shop?

Me: Um.. um..

Dad: Daniella, is something wrong?

Me: No, so see you tomorrow. 6am, before I go to school at Starbucks. K, bye.

Dad: Wait, Daniella-

I shut my phone and I wanted to panic so bad.

*Ding Dong*

It's 11pm, who could be on the door?

I opened the door and guess who I saw,

"Dad.. hi... I thought we're going to meet tomorrow.." I gritted my teeth with nervousness.

"Ah, I was worried. You didn't sound fine on the phone earlier so I rushed here." He responded.

"Where's mom? Aren't you with her?" I asked.

Then out of nowhere, mom popped out.

"Hi Daniella!"

Oh no, too late.

What if they see John?

It's already too late!

"May we enter?" Dad asked politely even if he knows I have to let him in.

"No.." I said,

"Why?" He asked, peeking on the sides.

"Because I said so!" I replied,

"You're really a funny girl, Daniella." Dad answered messing up my hair that is already messy, thinking what I said was a joke.

I woke up because I need a glass of water, then I saw Daniella on the door talking to some people, I wonder who they are.

I ponder on the question who are they so I went towards her and said,

"Hey Daniella! What's up? Who are you talking to?"

Daniella gasped.

What the hell is John doing here?

If my parents see this-

Wait, they already are!

They turned to me with a disappointing look on their faces.

My dad hates seeing guys so I can see in his face that he is unhappy.

"Daniella! What's the meaning of this?!" Dad screamed.

I couldn't respond properly at all.

John stared at me with a 'I don't really know what's going on did I interrupt something' face.

What should I do?

"Do I need to know something?" My mom's tone raised.

"Ah.. Um.." I couldn't say anything at all.
