The terrorising sound of thunder jarred me awake. I never did like thunder,it felt so...evil? It sent my blood cold and the raised the hair on my arms, so i ended up shivering. The night of my parents death there was bloodcurdling thunder that chilled me to the bone, i thought woefully.

There was a series of gentle knocks on my door before it swung open to reveal the last person in the world i wanted to see. With his hand over his eyes,he took two careful steps forward into the room. Oh, so he decide to be a gentleman did he? I am so not fooled, I mental judged. "Are you dressed?" Osiris asked.

"No i'm in my birthday suit." i snapped sarcastically. Which to my annoyance made him smirk.  I hate you! my eyes screamed at him but of course he couldn't see them, as he was pretending to be a gentleman. "Isis, don't be angry at me for knocking you out. I am sorry but it was the only way." he said soberly, as the smirk disappeared.

"You think i'm anger at you for knocking me out?!" I screamed, jumping up off the floor easily.  He must of sensed the danger as he uncovered his glowing topaz  eyes, and stared at my enraged face.

"What about for killing my parents and Sunny?! Or for burning my only home down?! Or even for kidnapping me in general? What sane person kidnaps people!!!" I hissed, not bothering to hide my emotions. He just stood there watching me. This only fueled my anger, so i lunged at him, snarling. FIve years of pent up hate and fury. Well, i was more then ready to tear him to bloody pieces, but he side stepped me a few seconds before I would of collided with him.

"I didn't kill them and i didn't kidnap you, i'm returning you." He replied simply. He has got to be kidding me right? I am so not falling for that crap.

"LAIR!" I yelled, punching him in the side of  the face, making him grunt. Then going for a low sweeping kick to trip him up, missing my target as he bounced lightly into the air to land behind me. Putting his hands up in surrender. Idiot, i thought as i grinned triumphly .

Taking advantage of the situation, i did a swiftly handstand, wrapping my toned legs around his neck tightly, suffocating him. My power whining at me to use it, so with the aid of my magic I flipped him over me,without crushing my legs in the landing. Releasing my legs, i started brutally punching him in the ribs. I ignored my reddening fists, but by the tenth blow, i realised he wasn't trying to block me. Had i killed him? No,he was still breathing. Why wasn't he fighting back? I pinned his muscled arms above his head, suddenly i also became aware that i'd straddled him while i had been senselessly hitting him. Oh man, I'm really losing it. What would mother and father think of me now?

"Isis" His soothing voice breaking me out of my mental babbling. He was watching my reaction intensely, through hooded eyes. His straight hair fallen away from his tense face,to fanned out around his head like a dark halo.

"Why aren't you fighting back?" I asked quietly, gazing into his to eyes, searching for answers, which should of been shining clear.

"Why would I want to,your highness? It is treason to do so anyway and like i said before I don't want to hurt you." he answered solemnly. His voice was steady, no cracking or wavering but his face was an impenetrable safe. My eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"You've already hurt me remember." I spat furiously. He closed his eyes and took in a slow steadying breath before opening them.

"I didn't want to knock you out and I didn't kill them. Sunny ran when she decide she couldn't beat me. I don't know where she is" He explained. He tone was truthful but... I can't trust him, he killed my parents and  the thought of my best and only friend betraying me just hurt to much to be excepted.

"Your lying! Sunny won't leave me! And you killed my parents you b*stard!" I accused, letting go of his arms to sharply slap him across his beautiful face, snapping his head to the side. He gasped. Suddenly I was the one being pinned to the wooden floor. "Damn it!" I cursed. His grip on me was to strong to wiggle out of.

"Isis, use your magic if you have to but I am not lying to you." He pleaded. Now, why didn't I think of that?! Oh yeah because Sunny had banned me from using my magic. Sunny.... I had to find out the truth. Even if it was agonizing, i had to know. Channeling pure power into my words

"Compello Veritas" I whispered, his pupils dilated as the magic embraced him forcing him to speak the truth. If he resisted, it only prove his gulit and cause him agonizing pain.

"Did you kill Sunny and my Parents?" I demanded, desperation amplify the effect of my magic. It crashed heavily into him, like the sea to the cliff.

"No, they were not killed by my hand." Osiris stated in monotone voice. I saw no traces of pain cross his face, neither were his hand fisted. He wasn't resisting.

"Solvo" I mumbled, dropping my hold on him. I slumped backwards into the floor, in shock. I had always blamed him, for 10 years i had accused him of murdering my parents and i was wrong. If he didn't kill them, then who did? I swear, it was him, it looked exactly like him....

That's when the tears burst from my sore violet eyes in a rush for freedom. Osiris cradled me to his solid chest as i wept, softly stroking my hair away from my face. It felt weird to be so close to him, but he wouldn't let me go. He didn't interrupt me but when i final got a hold of myself; he handed me a tissue and let me stand up.

"You want something to eat? 'Cause I'm straving" He admitted with a light tap to his growling stomach. Surpisingly enough I laughed.
