tail
"PLEASE don't be afraid of me," yoongi pleaded softly, "i'm not going to hurt you."
the opal in jimin's hand felt all too light and much too heavy simultaneously. he was hyperaware of all around him: the breeze, the sound of swaying leaves, the croaks from the frogs, his own pulse.
"you have a tail." jimin's voice was frail, it wavered and was too quiet to be heard over the noise of nature.
"can you please hurry up and get over your shock." yoongi refrained from rolling his eyes. he had no patience to stand here and let his world seep into the confines of jimin's dull mind.
without warning, he stepped forward, capturing jimin's hand in his own. "let's go now, jiminie. i have many things to show you."
