Chapter 21 - Uneasy

(Yui's POV)

It was finally lunch time, I reached into my bag, getting out my meal.

Once I opened up my lunch box, the scent of yummy food filled my nose. I reached for my chopsticks ready to dig in, but sadly I was tapped on the shoulder, interrupting my meal.

"Hey," it was the same guy from earlier today, "Mind if I join you?"

My heart skipped a beat, knowing that he so close to me.

"No, not at all!" I smiled as he took the seat in front of me.

There was nothing but silence, as we both ate our lunches.

He stops mid way, putting his chopsticks down, and gave me a sterned look.

I felt uneasy, feeling my cheeks turning red.

'Why is he looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with me?'

"Is there a problem?" I spoke out.

"Are the rumors true? Do you have something to do with (Y/N)'s disappearance?"

'I should of known... He wasn't interested in me... He just wants to interrogate me!'

I gulp, not knowing how to reply.

"Are you just going to stay silent?" He questions me again.

I start to fiddle with the hem of my skirt avoiding his gaze.

'What's his relationship with (Y/N)?'

"I see... Okay I'll be going then." He puts away his things and stands up with a bored expression.

"W-wait!" I spoke without thinking, "I'll tell everything you want to know!"

'What are you thinking Yui?! You can't tell him. The brothers will kill you!'

He look back at me and says,"I know a better place to talk."

(Y/N's POV)

I opened my eyes, to find everything blurry.

Once everything became clear, I found myself in a room different from mine.

Lilac walls, with a desk at the foot of the bed, a dresser beside me and a mirrored closet. It looked like any other room.

I got out of bed, to find myself in pajamas, I looked out the room as I saw pictures.

With me in them and with people whom I've never since before.

None of which had any of the brothers.

"(Y/N)!!!!!!", a woman's voice called out my name, "You're gonna be late for school.!!!!!"

Curious, I went, to where I heard the woman's voice.

The sweet smell of syrup filled my nose, and I saw two people, sitting at a kitchen table.

"Oh! (Y/N), you're not even dressed!" the woman to called me earlier, scolded me.

I stared at her, noticing her features, similar to mine.

"(Y/N) are you even listening to me?!", she exclaimed,"Hun, please talk some sense into your daughter." The woman looked at a man who was sitting at the table drinking coffee.

'Daughter?!'

"(Y/N), listen to your mother."

'Mother?! What are they talking about?!'

"Hurry and change!!" the woman shooed me up stairs, back the the room I woke up in.

"Daughter? Mother? What's going on here?!"

(Time Skip)

So what seem like a internity of endless confusion, the man dropped me off to school... but it's day time.

"(Y/N)!!!" I heard a feminine voice tell out my name, soon enough I found my back hit the floor.

"Oof." A girl with short pinkish hair laid on top of me, I just looked at her not knowing what's going on.

"Ooo (Y/N) I missed you so!!!" The girl squeezed me tight.

"This is very nice and all but who are you?" I questioned her through the lack of space she was giving me making it hard for me to breathe. She immediately let go of me and hold my shoulders, as a frown formed on her face.

"You mean you don't remember me...?" She quietly said.

"I've never seen you in my life."

She sulks and get off of me, pulling me up with her. I cant help but feel guilty. Suddenly the pictures from before came into my mind.

"Wait a minute! I have seen you before!!" I exclaim.

Her face instantly lits up, "Really?!"

"Yeah, you where in the picture in the room!"

"Oh.... yeah, your right..." she seemed  disappointed with my answer.

'How does she know me anyways.'

"I sorry if your not happy with my answer but maybe you can help me out here." I smiled at her. She returns  the smile, as the school bells ring. She grabs my wrist and takes me, opposite from the school entrance.

"Umm... where are we going?" I ask nervously.

"To our secret hang out! You asked for my help and I'll make sure to make you remember!"

"Can I at least know your name first?"

She stops her tacks and and looks down... A very scary aura surrounds her.

'Did I do something wrong?'

"Don't worry about that for now." She looks up at me and grins.

'Can I trust her...?'

(Kosuke's POV)

I took Yui to the library, and she told me about (Y/N) being unconscious. That she gave (Y/N) the wrong medicine. But I can't help to think that's she lying to me.

"So is there some kind of cure? We she wake up soon?" I asked.

I wait for an answer as she plays with the hem of her skirt.

"Well... Reiji is working on it." She says still avoiding my gaze.

"WHAT?? WORKING ON IT?!" I raise my voice at her, only to get started at near by students.

"Why haven't you taken her to a hospital or clinic?! Are you Just gonna wait around and do nothing until she dies!?" I start getting angry.

"Your not the only one who's impatient. You dont know how awful I feel, to cause her harm and because of me being jealous!! And even till the end (Y/N) still helped me get my body back. She still was nice to me..." Her voice tremble, as if she going to break into tears.

'I was so confused at her statement, getting her body back?'

Still feeling bad for Yui. Awkwardly, I took her in a hug, just to calm her down. I could feel her tears start staining my shirt. She her sobbing coming into a end.

It reminded me of the last time I was with (Y/N), I reget pushing her away like that. I reget leaving her, if I knew it would be one of the last time I saw her, things would of gone differently.

She clears her throat, and wipes away her last tears, as I move away from her.

"Erhm.. Thank you for that, sorry you had to put up with me." She sadly smiles.

"It's fine." I shrugged it off.

She smiles at me and ask,"Would you like to see her...?"
