Irene's POV
Nakagising ako dahil sa sobrang sakit ng tiyan ko, dahil wala ako kumain ng hapunan kaya ayan sumakiy ng sobra ang tiyan ko. Naalala ko hindi din pala ako kumain ng lunch kahapon dahil sobrang busy sa clinic.
Pagbaba ko sa kusina nagluto ako ng breakfast. Eggs and bacon yan ang usual breakfast ko dahil yun ang favorite ni Chase. Napangiti ako ng bigla ko maalala noong mga panahon na ok pa kami, na masaya pa kami. Gustong-gusto niya na ipinagluluto ko siya ng favorite breakfast niya. I really miss those days and I wish na sana mangyari pa ulet yon.
Pagkatapos ko magluto ay kumain na din ako agad. Umakyat ako ulet sa kwarto namin para maligo at magbihis para maka alis na ako at maka punta na sa clinic.
While I'm driving naka receive ako ng text galing sa bestfriend ko nung high school, si Jane. I was so happy and excited while reading her text she told me that she wants to see me tonight to have dinner and some drinks as well. She wants to catch up with me, medyo matagal din kasi kami hindi nagkita mula noong nagkasakit ang mama niya at lumipat sila ng America para doon ito ipagamot.
Mabilis na lumipas ang oras at hindi ko namalayan na 6:00 na pala ng gabi. Dahil sa kababasa ko ng mga case ng mga pasyente ko eh nawala na sa isip ko ang oras. Biglang nag ring ang phone ko at naalala ko na magkikita pala kami ni Jane.
Sinagot ko ito agad at sinalubong naman ako agad ni Jane ng sigaw "Hoyy Irene Dela Vega where are you?? Did you receive my text? I told you we'll have dinner and I also said kung saan and what time and I believe you're are super late it's already 6:30 you are 30 mins late" ughhh i miss hearing her voice she's really my bestfriend.
"I'm on my way Jane relax, I'll be there before you know it,ok?See you"
As soon as I arrived at Jane and I's favorite restaurant I immediately went inside as fast as I can because I know Jane does like waiting.
When I saw her I run towards her and called her when, the moment she turn her to me I immediately hug her.
I said "i miss you bestfriend" she only laugh and told be "ang corny mo, tara kain na tayo gutom na ako eh".
While we were eating I did not expect she would ask me the question I never want to answer.
She asked me "How are you and Chase? Are the both of you enjoying your married life?"
Napahinto ako bigla sa pagkain na ikinagulat naman ni Jane and she ask me "Why Irene?What's wrong"
