"it's not like we got big plans. let's drive around town holding hands."

jimin was a man of big dreams yet he equally loved spontaneity. he was decipherable yet so unpredictable at the same time. he was a paradox-- a maze seulgi adored getting lost in.

"wear something casual. we're going somewhere. pick you up in half an hour! xx"

seulgi heaved a sigh as she read the text message flashing on her phone. what was it this time? it's not that seulgi doesn't like going on dates with jimin. if anything, wanting to spend time with him was the reason she anticipates weekends; but the thing is: whenever they went on dates, she always somehow finds a way to embarrass herself.

she recalls that one time he made her wear a long gown and they ended up eating street food from small stalls at namdaemun.

and that one time they went to a club, leaving her drunk and crying over an ant she claimed that she "murdered"; even insisting she gives it a decent funeral.

just thinking about it sent shivers down her spine and made her cringe.

it was embarrassing, yes. however, if it means being able to spend time with jimin, she'd be willing to do it all over again.

"okay, baby. drive safely! : )" she types up a reply before getting up from her lying position to take a quick shower.

jimin did tell her to wear something casual. maybe they were going to the mall, or going for a walk at the nearby park. it shouldn't take here this long to prepare but seulgi was stuck trying to figure out which articles of clothing to put on.

and while she dwelt on her seemingly huge problem, a car can be heard pulling up by the gates of their shared home.

"seulgi?" soon enough, there was a knock on their bedroom door and her boyfriend's voice can be heard from the other side.

the female's panic doubled and she hastily tried to hide the mess she's been making. it was to no avail, though, for jimin had already opened the door with his key.

distressed, she turned around to face him with a small pout. "i don't know what to wear," she whined quietly.

he found it amusing-- one: because she looks cute, and two: because she thinks she should worry about it.

"baby," he called her, hand reaching to cup her cheek and lift her gaze to his. "whatever you wear, you'd always look the most beautiful."

she then proceeded to lightly hit his chest, the blush evident on her cheeks and jimin couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.

"or if it's really bothering you.." he wore his sly smile seulgi knows all too well as he reached for the tie of her bathrobe, slightly tugging on it. "..maybe you shouldn't dress at all. a date at home, yeah?"

"jimin!" seulgi warned before she swatted his hand away, followed by a fit of laughter from the both of them.

she had her back resting against the seat and her legs raised up to his dashboard when she asked, "where are we going, anyway?"

"hm, i don't know," shrugging his shoulders, he flashed another knowing smile but he didn't look at her; instead, he kept his eyes on the road.

when their gazes finally meet, though, seulgi was sure her heart skipped a beat. his eyes were something so familiar yet she still managed to get lost in them.

"i don't mind where we go," he said in his soft voice, hand reaching for hers as he brought it to his lips and placed a kiss on it. "as long as i'm with you, i'm as happy as i could ever be."

he got her under his loving gaze, a smile painting on his face simply by looking at the beauty in front of him. with that, he shifted his focus back on the road and started driving into the night.

and of all the beautiful places she's been to, beside him was her favorite.
