Incredibly short chapter.... sorry, not sorry....
Chapter 8: JUST A GAME?
Saturday passes as quickly as it came, hopefully the whole long weekend wouldn't go as quickly.
At the movies with Chad we explained everything. He agreed he was being a jerk and begged Ellie to forgive him. He promised he would show her that he could be a nice guy and she agreed to at least give him a second chance. On Sunday morning Ellie and I got dressed in our school colours and walk with Junior to the game. The team wolf – whistled when Junior kisses me before Ellie and I went to sit with Chad in the grand stand.
"Hi ladies" came a voice from behind us and out popped Stuart, "Ellie, could I talk to you?"
"I'm a bit busy Stuart" she replies hastier than usual.
"Go on babe" Chad says kissing her long and hard, "We'll mind your seat"
Stuart and Ellie walk away and Chad turns to me.
"I gotta a plan"
