Junior and I [Ch10, P1]

Chapter 10: JUNIOR AND I

Junior and I lay on the bed for what seems like forever. We don't talk we just seem to being enjoying each other's company. Tom walks into the room and Junior sits up immediately.

"What?"

"I...um" Tom struggles.

"What?" Junior says again.

"I'm hungry" Tom says quietly and I giggle.

"Well..." Junior says in a harsh tone, "leave us alone."

"Come on Tom. I will get you something." I say jumping off the bed. We are half way down the stairs when Junior realises what I just did.

"Jay! You don't have to. He is like ten!"

"We are in kitchen" I yell back ignoring what he said.

I get my wallet out of my back pocket to find a 'Dominoes Pizza Rewards Card' and a twenty dollar note. I put my findings on the bench and type the Dominoes Number from the card into the phone.

Junior enters.

"What are you doing?"

I ignore him and talk into the phone, "Hi, I'd like to order two large pizzas"

"Meatlovers and Supreme ok?" I ask Tom, he nods excitedly.

"Yep, two, Meatlovers and Supreme, classic crust...delivery...yes...30 Charlotte Place....name, Whitmore, yes...phone number...3572 ah...8642...ok, twenty minutes ok. Thank you."

"Jay you didn't have to do that" Junior says.

"Well I thought Tom and I might starve if I didn't." I smirk at him.

"Junior can we watch a movie?" Tom asks bounding into the lounge room.

"Sure but it is Jay's pick"

"Sweet!" I say looking through their DVD's. I found my absolute favourite movie, "This one" I say holding up '10 Thing I Hate About You'

"That's girly," Tom says.

"My pick" I say throwing it to Junior.

"Jay, are you serious?" Junior says and I pout at him, "Oh alright"

Tom falls asleep just as the gorgeous Heath Ledger start singing along the football stand to a very embarrassed Julia Stiles.

"That is the stupidest thing a guy could do" Junior remarks.

"I think it's romantic," I say,

"I can be romantic" Junior say. I put my head on his shoulder and he kisses the top of my head. The doorbell rings. It is the pizzas, turns out that the delivery guy got lost. I give the eighteen year old, red headed delivery boy the money and he hands Junior the pizzas.

"S'pose we better wake up Tom" Junior says putting the pizzas on the coffee table. "Oi Tom – OUCH!" I hit him over the head with the remote after turning the movie back on.

"Tom" I say stroking his blonde hair, which almost exactly resembled Junior's. Slowly Tom starts to wake up.

"Yum pizza" he says excitedly.

"You're too nice Jay" Junior say leaning into kiss me.

"Ewww, please not while I'm here," Tom points to his pizza, "Eating hello!"

We watch the rest of the movie before Tom yawns very loudly and says he is tired. Junior tidies up the pizza mess and I take Tom upstairs.

"My brother likes you, you know" Tom says as he starts to brush his teeth.
