Chapter Eight: Provided Counsel

Kathelin's POV

After two months, I still dream about that atrocious dream and my friends are always there for me when I need it. It's like our routine now, me screaming and they're trying soothe me down. Believe me it's not fun at all and the bags under my eyes are starting to grow bigger, even a little bit of makeup couldn't hide it anymore. Maybe I should get a therapist for this situation!?

At school, the word about me and Aevaden dating are now spreading like a virus and the girls, well some are coping with it wonderfully and some are having the hardest to deal with it, hopefully everything will turn out right.

The dream is still clinging on my mind causing my friends to look even more worried, since they've notice the change in me which I don't bother looking over it. And thankfully they didn't mention any of this to the guys but they did talk to Aden about it, since I overheard them talking about how to help me with my problem in a corner in about an hour ago

"Aevaden," said Riana softly but worriedly "I know that you care about Kathelin... and I know you want this relationship of yours to work... So, uh..." she paused

"We want, well we need your help..." continued Ivy

"Help with what?" asked Aden dubiously

"We need you to help Kathelin loosen up the burden on her shoulder, because she's not acting how she used to be anymore..." said Chassy

"I noticed" replied Aden

"It all started with her dreams..." Said Riana

"What about them?" he looked curious

"She... she said that it keeps getting worse and worser, so she only have nightmares to dream about..." said Ivy

"So... you guys want me to get her to feel better and help keep her mind off of it?" he asked

"Precisely!" they agreed

"Ok, I'll try..." he smiled

"Really?" said Riana

"Really..." He reassured them

"Oh, thank you, thank you!" yelped Chassy as the three of them quickly hugged him

"Your such a big help!" exclaimed Ivy

"And make sure to not make it any worse than it is now, because if you do..." threatened Riana as they all pulled back

"Don't worry, Riana... I'll take good care of her..." he sweetly smiled

"I hope so... because you are her boyfriend after all" she mockingly grinned at him

He chuckled in reply.

"Wait!" said Ivy "You're not actually serious about getting to be with her, are you?"

Then it all became silent as the girls intently look at him

"I dunno..." Aden then spoke up and looked down "I actually don't know my feelings anymore..." He quietly said but loud enough to hear.

Afterwards, Riana grinned

"I think I know..." earning herself confused looks from them

"What do you mean you know?" asked Chassy looking at her

"What do you know?" asked Ivy

"Well duh... Have you guys forgotten?" she then leaned to whisper in Ivy and Chassy's ears avoiding to let Aden hear, which I didn't catch either.
